Comfortable rooms, good breakfast, excellent staff (Helder was super helpful and provided great coffee and latte!) and great location. The hotel is located in a small fishing village, next to a natural reserve. The fishing village has a completely renewed city centre, very clean and neat, with excellent restaurants.

Play area in the restaurant (although the child minder wasn't very attentive and didn't even notice it when our kids left the play area). Playground outside was a nice addition.
The location was amazing. The curtains were very good at blocking out light and the rooms were very soundproof (even when there was loud music blaring outside we couldn't hear a thing). The beds were also comfy so we had a good night's sleep.
The staff was friendly.
Breakfast was decent.
The free beach chairs and parasol are only a short walk away.
Parking is tight but worked out well as they have additional spaces on the back.
The Junior Park was only a short walk away. Our kids loved the rides, and the park was open till 23:30, which was great for tiring out the kids in the evening if they are on a late schedule.

We spent time walking around the small old town and harbour.
We spent time walking around the small old town and harbour. Enjoying a sundowner at one of the Bars in town and on the waterside. We ate in the Jo Hotel restaurant and also at a Pizzeria. A highlight of our visit was a boat trip on the Battello Santa Maria that lasted several hours and included lunch, drinks and onboard entertainment. Nico the Captain and host provides an wonderful commentary in Italian, he sings a few melodies and makes certain everyone has a great time. For nature lovers there is a nature reserve.
Getting around the Old Town is easy and the bars are friendly and patronised by locals. By car one can easily access Grado, Trieste, Palmanova Outlet Village for bargain shopping. Lignano is in easy reach and Venice is also a little over an hour away.
Marano is a pretty laid back fishing village for a stay of a few relaxing days.

The hotel is located next to the main road which connects Marano Lagunare with the world and is only a few minutes walk from the historic centre. There is a great restaurant on the ground floor. The staff was very helpful. The room was clean and big enough. The bed was a good size and the mattress was hard enough.
The breakfast was simply great. All-in-all very very good price for the value.

A hidden gem. Nice rooms, working air con and WiFi, own parking. Fantastic restaurant, with very nice interiors, great pizza and this holiday Italian vibe you travel here for. Beautiful, small, lively old town, especially at night I saw bicycles for rent by the hotel too.
