The views from both our room and a shared balcony were spectacular. Communication and responsiveness for check-in and check-out were excellent. The bathroom, which was not en suite but adjacent and enclosed with the room through a privacy curtain, looked new and was very clean.

Mario’s place was very clean, cozy and location was great for our short visit - its located on a very quite street, we had a parking space, the house is very close to Varenna and the balcony is very inviting. Mario greeted us upon arrival, gave us house tour and also provided some food / activities recommendations. It was a pleasure staying in his house.

Perledo was a fantastic place to stay.It is about 15minutes downhill from Verenna if you want to catch a ferry.The walk back up the hill you need to be fit it’s steep.Perledo has lovely local restaurants to go to and it’s all fresh produce which I loved.Great walks in Perledo and lots to explore and the view over the lake is amazing.You have to stay in Perledo there is so much to see.

Peeled/Varenna is indeed beautiful and worth seeing but it is exceptionally busy with tourists. Consequently the restaurants and shops are geared to cater for tourists and there is very little local flavour or culture to be found. Good for a couple of days sightseeing but certainly not restful.

Perledo is a beautiful place in the mountains over looking the lakes. It is peaceful and a beautiful part of the world. I have travelled to many different places in my life and this is such an amazing place for nature clean air, everywhere you look there is beauty. You will need a car if you stay here and are not fit. The climb back up from Varenna is steep.

The village is in a fabulous position right above the lake, but the road is narrow, windy, steep and tricky for people not accustomed to the rapid local drivers you may encounter, particularly at night.

Perledo is ideally located for easy access to the ferry terminal. Here you can take a ferry to Menaggio as well as Bellagio and onwards. It's also a short walk away from Varenna which has a few more shops and restaurants. It's a quieter town and ideal for those who wish to stay away from the crowds and night life. It also offers some more affordable accommodation options compared to some of the more popular towns.
Beautiful scenery!!!!The breakfast was good with a variety of food-ham, cheese, fresh fruit, juice, various breads, cake, boiled egg. The best coffee was the cappuccino that Rita made for guests if requested. Our room was very clean. Mattresses comfortable. Though we did not have an evening meal there, we had wine one evening in the bar & the food being served looked delicious. There was a van that stopped near train station each night starting @ 9pm that was available to transport us to our hotel @ no cost.
The apartment has been very well fitted out and has good security. The kitchen has everything necessary for self catering. The huge shower alone is larger than many hotel bathrooms. The bed is comfortable with nice linen.
After an initial hiccup on arrival Cristina was superb at getting it resolved fast. The location is great, 5 mins walk from the station & 10mins to the ferry dock. There is less crowds so it's a bit quieter but still very close to the restaurants & shopping hub.
We had a wonderful stay at trilly house. View is amazing one of the best views we saw in lake como. The small town of Perledo is nice with a supermarket, cafe and bar all within very short walking distance. The host Monica was amazing, so friendly and gave us good recommendations. She is also a taxi so it is convenient to get to and from

We loved this apartment! The hosts were personable and made us feel at home. It was a large room with an attached bathroom. The breakfast was excellent! The location had a superb view right next to the church looking down on Lake Como. The host contacted us prior to arrival when a landslide impacted train travel to suggest we come by car which ended up to be the best suggestion as Perledo is 3 miles up a steep and winding road from Varenna.
Crotto di Gittana is tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but only a 10 minute drive if you want to be in Varenna. It has amazing views of Lake Como. There is an extra level of attention to detail. We enjoyed the additional service of prosecco on arrival and the 24hr Honesty bar. The hotel also provides a very comprehensive list of recommendations and tips. We absolutely LOVED their restaurant recommendation.
Our stay in Vecchia Perledo was great, the apartment is well-equipped, clean and cozy and Perledo is a picturesque small town. Self check-in was very convenient, our flight was delayed, so we didn't have to worry about being too late. Something to keep in mind is that it's located uphill, so climbing back up from Varenna can be a bit challenging, but the views are totally worth it.
Beautiful location above Varenna with an amazing view of the lake! Very peaceful. Rita and the hotel staff were all wonderful as well and made us feel welcome. The rooms were clean and the food absolutely delicious, we already miss it!! Also thank you for arranging pickup from Varenna to the hotel when we first arrived + arranging taxi for departure. The whole place has unique vibe. Perfect location for a people who really love small, cozy and family places instead of huge hotels. Over a dozen steps for the best view on Como Lake. Tasty breakfasts and great hosting by the owner and his family. Hope to come back again. Totally recommend.
A little slice of heaven. My husband and I loved this apartment. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony is just as pictured and we loved sitting there to enjoy our morning coffee. Perledo is a wonderful village as well and we hope to be back again.
one of the mist quaint B&B”s with perhaps the best high view of Lake Como. the old stone facade with detailed antiques, tastefully arranged by Alex. Great bed, exceptional breakfast, hot shower were a few highlights. Alex is a seasoned hotelier with a precious family.
Foremost, the view is absolutely fabulous, overseeing a large part of the lake, as well as the beautiful village of Perledo. The apartment is spacious, nicely furnished and well equipped. Parking spots are nearby as well as a small supermarket and restaurant/bar.
We have booked this hotel on the Christmas Eve with worry about services, but all staffs are super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect if you’re travel by train and it’s 3-5 minutes walk to the pier. We would recommend this hotel for Varenna.
The location requires a drive or taxi up the hill…however once you arrive it is pure magic. View and peace and quiet are wonderful. Host goes out of her way to ensure your comfort. Room is better equipped than most expensive hotels.
Breakfast was provided 100m away in sister hotel, it was excellent and staff was very nice. Since we don't consume pork,lady staff was so helpful and quickly made some fresh egg products.
