Michiel was a fabulous host. He was there when we arrived and let us in during a downpour. He was friendly, gracious, and accommodating. The garden area around the unit was beautiful and we even bought some honey from the hive there. The bonus was the dinner recommendation at Restaurant Groenland. We highly recommend it for a very special treat. We stayed in the smaller unit, but would recommend the larger unit with the full kitchen if staying more than one night. However, we had what we needed to make breakfast and have lunch. The unit was very clean. The location was great for groceries, restaurants, and walking around in the city parks.

The room was very clean and spacious and had tea/coffee making facilities and nice toiletries in the bathroom.
The staff were very friendly and really helpful with travel advice when we used the local bus and train.
The location was very easy to find and literally just off of the motorway, making it easy to get away to our daily destinations!

Hotel is located on the edge of a wooded area and has all the required facilities, and more! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was well decorated and of a good size, with a very nice bathroom. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast also very good with lots of choice and good coffee
Very clean, like new furnishings. The property and surrounding forest is beautiful. I liked waking up to the sound of the birds outside (I don't get this often, living in a high rise at home). We didn't try the food at the hotel, but the restaurant next door was really good.
Fantastic place to get relaxed. In "the middle of nowhere" between the farms, cows, fields etc. Very lovely host and absolutely great breakfast, possible to eat outside infront of your room. Nice walk to Driebergen through the field's from around 35 minutes.
Lovely hotel situated in rural area surrounded by forest. Super friendly staff and rich and varied breakfast. Easy access to/from Utrecht on bus 50, bus stop “Akkerweg”. You can buy the bus ticket on the bus with your credit card. Excellent value for money.
Kasteel Sterkenburg is absolutely gorgeus and fosters a unique hotel experience. Every corner of the building has history, and is carefully designed. The staff is also incredibly kind and eager to make all guests feel at home! Highly recommended!

Quite interesting looking large area with a couple of different styled buildings with hotel rooms. Nice quiet location in the forest. Soft bed with a nice normal sized pillow. I like the artsy vibe.
Very nice quiet location in close proximity to shops, cafes, public transport, etc. in Driebergen. The upstairs apartment has everything you need for a couple of days stay in the area.
This was just the perfect place on all levels, location, friendliness of staff, room, comfort, style of room, one of the best breakfasts I had in a hotel in the Netherlands
