Great location with great view
Kind staff
The pool is amazing
Food also great
Lake Hotel is located in Mūkhī. With free WiFi, this 1-star hotel offers free shuttle service and a 24-hour front desk. Guests can enjoy mountain views. At the hotel, every room has a closet.
There is nothing much to do in the town. You will have to stick to the resort and a couple of beaches. But if you choose the right resort, you can spend some quality time. But the annoying thing was that there was a new rule that came into picture that you cannot take your vehicle if it is under mortgage. So everyone should be aware of it.

There isn’t a lot to do here, but the drive alone is worth the trip. A dhow trip is a great, relaxing way to see more of the natural beauty of the coast (unfortunately the boats are giant stinkpots emitting diesel pollution into beautiful waters). The dolphins love to play with the bow wake. Take a book and enjoy.
The fort is really interesting! Easy to visit, plenty to learn.

The best experience was a full day dhow trip, the scenery is stunning and it's also fun to travel in a dhow. The snorkelling is ok but nothing compared with other coastal areas of Oman. Unfortunately, as a solo traveller I wasn't able to join in any other trips (which require a minimum group size of 4 people). I didn't have a car so getting around is not easy (no taxis!). The local beach, Bassa, is quite good for a swim if you can ignore the horrendous plastic bottle pollution which is present everywhere in Oman.

Khasab is a nice place but you don't have many places to explore. I would recommend 1-night stay if you go from Dubai...2nd day you can book a half-day cruise which is more than enough don't go for a full-day cruise it will turn into a boring day.

Its a lovely quiet rustic place with nothing much to see or do, You can drive around the area which is very scenic if you love mountains ! Its a lovely place to unwind and fade into oblivion and drive around however I would suggest if you are particular about food which carry something along. We tried to go to one of the wadi's but the road was not developed. Work is still on! Stay at the Khasab resort and travel around the coastline which is a beautiful drive ! Also there is some diving, snorkeling and dhow cruise that you can opt for!

Khasab is a fantastic place to visit with family and friends but at suitable weather. Food facilities are very less as I couldnt find even any fast food chain. Border crossing at Omani side (both enter & exit) time was hectic, bit unorganized and time consuming. UAE side was perfectly fine. May be it is due to rush days (Eid days) but authorities should have managed it properly.
Dhow cruise was just amazing. We used services of Khasab Sea Tours. Staff was friendly and very cooperative.
very friendly, walking distance to town and some restaurants. very good and complete breakfast, nice layout of hotel and very nice rooms.
unfortunately no reliable internet in our room which is an issue for travelers. private, covered parking for regular cars. very clean throughout. good option in the region but overall on the pricey side when compared to similar accommodation in Oman. would however consider staying there again.
The overall stay was comfortable n nice with good basic facilities from a three star hotel perspective. It is value for money. The staff (Mustafa, Haleema, Ruqayya, Luqman) is very polite and cooperative. The property is bit old but well maintained. It is almost in middle of the town so easy to navigate. Very calm n peaceful environment. I belive it is the best option in town after Atana Khasab Hotel
The location is great. I rent a two bedroom apartment with a living room, kitchen - rooms are big with two double beds. My kids are happy with the hotel and room. Hotel staff are super friendly and helpful. They even checked with us before our arrival, share advise and hints for what to do at the border & migration processes.
The view from the front windows is lovely. The staff is helpful and gave a great dinner suggestion of a restaurant right behind the hotel, 2 minute walk. It has decent size rooms that are clean and maintained and a simple, but clean bathroom. It is a great budget option. Nothing super fancy, but certainly comfortable.
Cozy romantic getaway in one of the most picturesque corners of Arabian peninsula. Atana Khasab has great rooms, small but stunning space surrounding it, with beach and hilltop access, superb food, and a lovely atmosphere to rejuvenate you out of tiring routine.
Spacious and comfortable room with balcony. We saw parakeets in the trees in front of the hotel.
The staff is very friendly, attentive and professional.
Several tour operators for dhow cruises are located within short walking distance.
Location is fantastic for Dolphin tours, the views are amazing from the sea view rooms. The hotel is a bit dated but lovely buffet breakfast, the receptionist was very helpful and friendly, and it’s really cheap for a few days away,
A wonderful stay at the Khasab Hotel with a helpful and friendly reception and service staff, late check out up to my flight time, spacious and clean room, good breakfast and nice swimming pool with kids playgrounds
The size of the room. Free upgrade to 3 beds due to 2 beds was not available. Dolphin watching trip was also provided with an extra charge including transport from the hotel to the jetty. Breakfast was nice.
Good location, near the port and lulu hypermarket. also walking distance to the Khasab fort. We love the room aesthetic with a touch of Omani culture. Staff were nice and very friendly.
Khasab is a very interesting place, the hotel is centrally located, the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was nice, and I loved the sound of the birds!
