I think this was one of the most luxurious places we stayed, for low budget. It had hot water, rooms with equiped kitchen, comfy beds, TV (well sao tome only has 2 channels I believe), fan, good breakfast.... The owners are very hard workers and welcoming. We would have liked to stay more time here.

The staff is amazing and is making sure that their guests feel welcome! One example: We went on an early hike and would've missed breakfast. So the staff prepared us sandwiches and fruit to take with! Power might go out time by time (NOT the Lodge's fault), but the Eden Valley team and its generator work magic. Good Wifi in tents and bungalows (for the ones who need it). There's no AC in the bungalows, but there's AC in the tents.

The whole place is beautiful. We stayed in one of the rooms with private bathroom, with lovely views. The food at the restaurant was always delicious, and the breakfast was really, really, really good! The staff is so very attentive and professional, we loved staying here.

Great place to stay. The rooms have AC and the pool is nice and refreshing. Kenito speaks English which is very helpful and he made our trip much much easier. He arranged a car rental for us. When we broke down on the side of the road and called him, he immediately sent someone with another car to switch with us. Highly recommend!

Breakfast was fine - nothing special. Room was clean. Neighborhood was visually not pleasant. However, the whole city is that way. One would not come to visit the city. The people are very friendly and it is a safe city.

The staff were incredibly helpful and the location was wonderful. They weren’t really busy while I was there so they upgraded my room, which was very thoughtful and generous. Would definitely stay there again. Value for money was ok, would have been better value if breakfast had been included. Restaurants close by and easy walking distance so not a problem

The location is near the airport which is convenient. The pool is nice in the middle of the courtyard. The rooms are a good size and the bathroom is spacious with a good shower. The staff are very helpful. You are close to the chocolatiers shops for the city.

The breakfast was simple, but one of the better ones we had in Sao Tome. It is close to downtown so it's easy to get markets, fresh bread, and groceries nearby. This is a budget hotel and it is Africa so the wife and power go out sometimes, but the AC worked well; that was a huge plus.
