Just next to Khao San Road, and absolutly no sound from the party scene there.
There was construction next to the hotel, but you have almost no nuisance of it.

The location was near to plenty of restaurants but down a quiet side street so no real noise at night. The hotel allowed us to leave some of our luggage there for a small charge while we travelled to other destinations. Breakfast ok.

It is low rise so no concrete and glass 20 storey structure. The grounds are green and immaculately kept. The reception staff were so helpful and took time to understand what I needed help with and gave me all options. It is a former Royal home gifted to the city but under certain stipulations, ie no major structural changes so no lifts but with only 3 storeys,that was not an issue. It has kept much of its regal charm therefore. The dip infinity pool is gorgeous and while out of the city centre (what I wanted) there are regular riverboats nearby, about 500 yards, and for 16 baht (2p?) you can connect to anywhere.
