This small bungalow is located mere 20 meters away from the shore line! Considering that I had no expectations at all, it ended up being a very good surprise. I would recommend it for sure.

The property is in a beautiful place on the sea front amongst a fishing community. It is a short walk to the pier and other beautiful beaches. We ended up extending our stay twice because we loved it so much! The included breakfast is amazing with so much choice and the staff are so wonderful and kind. We saw the Dugong from the bungalow every day!!! Maybe we were lucky but maybe he also loves Sea View Bungalow!

we loved everything. kookai and her husband are the perfect hosts and go out of their way to help and always have a smile. it’s in a great location, so close to the best beach and a short tuk tuk from the main area. yes it’s basic, but had everything we needed

The owner of this stay was so beyond kind and accommodating to me. I unfortunately was ate up by sand flies before arriving on Koh Muk and she immediately was ready with open arms to help me get medical attention and help me with transportation. The hospitality was astounding. The place itself was so cozy and comfortable. Having it situated right on the water was so nice and tranquil. She provided free water, coffee, and crackers for guests which was awesome. The spot is conveniently located with a restaurant and laundry drop off right next door. At the end of my trip she helped me move to my next spot which I was so grateful for. I would totally recommend this stay, you won’t be disappointed!
Great island with the stunning Charlie beach. One of the top in Thailand from my 2 month travel around. Definitely underrated. Can be uncomfortable in the evenings when jelly fish appear. But 10 starts for the morning time. Also nice food done by local on theirs small restaurants business on the beach. An relaxing place to be.

We loved how relaxed the island was.
We loved how relaxed the island was. The locals were super friendly (especially the children who said hello and good morning whenever we went past). It is very quiet compared to other Thai islands such as Koh Lipe / Koh Phi Phi so be prepared for early nights rather than late night partying.

Charlie’s beach was our favourite.
Charlie’s beach was our favourite. You could sit on the loungers and umbrellas for free although the beer cocktails and Pad Thai were too good to decline.
You get around the island in tuk tuks which cost 50baht each no matter what the distance.
The Home Restaurant, Arunee (fantastic cook) and Manat run this lovely restaurant. One night we had barracuda for dinner which was delicious.
We were lucky one evening to see turtles by the pier

Sivalai Resort is there too on a beautiful beach.
A must is a visit to Emerald cave and a day trip to Koh Kradan.
Loved Sunset or (Charlie Beach)
Overall I would strongly recommend Koh Mook island.
Probably the best resort in Koh Mook. It's close to Charlie Beach which is the only proper beach in the island. The bungalow has everything you need, little fridge, kettle, AC, comfy bed. The staff is SUPER NICE and the owner tries her best to communicate with guests in English. Whatever you need - just ask her patiently and she will provide it. Bungalows have little cute porches where you can chill out surrounded by trees and flowers. There's also a swimming pool and mini market right next to the resort.
Mookies is not far from Charlie beach (about 400m) and a bit out of town. The breakfasts and evening meals were good. We did a couple of trips organised by the resort. One was excellent but the second to Koh Kradan was not great - don’t do trips that start from Charlie beach as we waited an hour to be picked up, always start from the pier. The staff were friendly and helpful and overall we enjoyed out time here.
Great location, 5 minutes from the pier. Jackie and the rest of the staff were wonderful as well as the restaurant, "Alin Kitchen" serving great meals. The room was clean. Also, I needed to renew my tourist visa at Trang while in Koh Mook, the hotel used a great agency for pick up( tuk tuk, ferry) in Koh Mook and drop off at the immigration at Trang (taxi), and back to the hotel. The service was fantastic.
Nice comfortable bungalow in peaceful location just five minutes walk to the lovely Charlies beach. Bungalow was in immaculate condition, staff were friendly and helpful, restaurant was open from very early morning and throughout day with a wide selection of Thai and Western food. Place had a happy and peaceful vibe that was infectious. We look forward to staying there on our next Koh Muk holiday.
great bungalow with amaizing view at the jungle. Rooms were clean and had all you need to relax. We booked one night we stayed 2 and wanted to stay more but we had to come back to Bankok. Everything looks exactly like on the pictures that was great value for the money we paid. Hosts are good people and evenbirrowed us a sciter ti go to the city. Best place we visited in Thailand. beach amaizing
I stayed in this hotel three nights in April. From the beginning the staff has been very attentive, offering free (awesome! ) coconut ice-cream on arrival. The room is bright, well equipped and clean. Beds are a bit hard but it's quite common in Asia.
Also, they can prepare breakfast if you inform them one day before.
Would definitely book there again if I return to Koh Mook!
The rooms are set on the side of a forested hill and you feel like you are in the jungle. You can hear the birds & the frogs & you feel surrounded by nature. It’s very romantic. Soo the owner was incredibly helpful & managed to get something sent that I had left at a previous hotel. She was also very informative & we enjoyed chatting with her. She is a wonderful cook too.
Very nice resort, with an excellent service. A very good breakfast. The pool was very nice. Free taxi service; Everything was clean. the owner did everything to help us with information and with booking a boot etc. With the information and his mindful assistance we were able to do some awesome trekking, snorkeling and visit the emerald caves on a quiet moment.
4 very well equipped and clean pretty bungalows up on a hill with a fantastic view. the hotel owners are really nice and helpful. you can rent motorbikes from them. the stairs are quite steep, so you have to be good at walking. would definitely recommend.
This hotel was the best accommodation in my whole 3 weeks in Thailand. Don't let the fact that this hotel is not beachfront stop you. it's a great hotel, run by friendly staff and they offer free transport to and from the beach
Lovely small resort. The owner is extremely friendly and permanently improving thing’s. The resort is open to the east beach, which is not the best beach for swimming here, but you have a view at the mainland.
Because this place is not walking distance to town where most bars/restaurants are, it would be great if the resort could make lunch and dinners available (only breakfast is available) as well as drinks.
The bungalow on the beach had a beautiful sunrise view. The staff was very helpful at helping arrange transfers back to the airport directly from the resort.
