The place is absolutely Cristal clean , the breakfast was tasty and fresh from the farm .
Our dog enjoyed the trail , the view of the chickens 🐓 and our daily walk .
The lodge manager and his family was so kind and helpful . Some extra that I loved :

Coffee 24/7 in the lobby .
Refrigerator in the room.
The pillow and the mattress was so comfy I had to order the same pillow from Amazon. lol

The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly. Even their restaurant staff was amazing. Special mentions belong to the bartender, Olivia; the inn's breakfast chef, Maria; front desk staff, Abby and forgotten the check out person who told us to come back and enjoy the farm in it's glory in July and August.

Location was perfect for walking into town (walkable to Ye Old Tavern, Thai Basil, shopping, outlets, etc.). The staff was friendly. Property amenities were nice - golf, bon fire, tennis, heated outdoor pool, yard games, etc. Our room was clean and bed very comfortable. The Palmer House really is about location. We have stayed before and will stay again for short overnight trips b/c of this.

We lived out stay at this hotel, and especially how dog friendly it was. Beautiful building and interior, comfy bed, clean room.

I was there to visit with relatives who live 5 minutes from the resort. I have been visiting the area for over 50 years and it is a very beautiful area. The many covered bridges in the area are an attraction for those who don't often see such a sight!

What a lovely little town.
What a lovely little town. We saw lots of wildlife and it was very relaxing. We usually stay in Manchester VT, but I'm so happy we found Sunderland. A lot less touristy. We'll definitely be back
