We unfortunately never got to sit down and have breakfast at the facility as we got an urgent call that our child was not well and had to be taken to the hospital.
We therefore had to cut our stay short, slept only one night, when we had paid for two nights.
upon leaving we asked if the facility could refund our one-night stay, however, they advices that we do that through Bookings.com.

The location is great, the property is amazing, the house and the yard is also nice my only issue was the room, doesn't look as luxurious as the one that I saw on the website, had I known I'd have called before booking to request for the best one that they have.

loved the rooms, did not enjoy a bunch of ladies in the pool about 8 of them drinking and screaming in and around the pool, took away the nice romantic ambiance away, we eventually left and stayed in o9ur rooms which was much quieter. Food really bad and overpriced.

The area was beautiful and quiet and very secure, we felt safe. Clean apartment and very friendly staff, they made sure we had every thing we needed. The gas heater was a master piece for the coldest nights, we couldn't stay away from it. Thank you guys so much, there's definitely a second round⭐⭐⭐⭐👍
Great location and facilities that make this staycation unbelievably tranquil. You would not even know you are in Gauteng. Host readily available via the app. Great Wi-Fi and TV options if you need it. Nice big bed. Neighbors friendly when you do see them. Thank you for the clean towels and bodywash. Also I appreciate the domestos in the bathroom.
The staff at the guest house were awesome and very helpful. They made my stay the more pleasant I even ended up moving my check out for a later time at a very convenient prices.. The other mama working there ended up calling me her son after all I had a very pleasant stay.. Now it is my go to guest house every time I get to Roodepoort
The food was absolutely incredible. If this place had its own restaurant I would 100%, without a doubt be their number 1 customer. The staff is warm, friendly, attentive and very hospitable. If you are in need of some quaintly down time to escape life's busyness- Black Eagle Hotel & Spa is a place I would recommend

Came up for a practical at the Unisa campus, was just 1.6km away. A twenty minute walk if you struggle to get a Uber at 7am(R40)... Probably the most pleasant place I've stayed in Roodepoort so far.
It averaged at about 32⁰ heat but the thatch roof was ideal!

Excellent Hotel, cozy, more like a bed and breakfast with a personal touch. it had a mountain getaway feel. the green forest view from our large balcony was beautiful. The staff was very friendly, and their breakfast was excellent. We highly recommend this place.
Food at the hotel was excellent and staff were super helpful. Location is good especially with access to the Blueberry Shopping complex and the restaurants and shops. The Virgin Active gym Honeydew was also really close which was great
The location was perfect for what we needed with easy access to shops, the theatre and major routes out of Roodepoort. There was plenty space for our family of 6 and we had the essentials necessary for our stay.
I liked everything about my room. It was the very same way that i saw on online. The staff was so very welcoming 😌. The food guys yoh😋the chef knows his story, they were so delicious and affordable.
Staff were very accommodating and friendly. The hotel was quiet, conducive to work. The room had everything that was needed. Tea and coffee were nearby in the eating area. Bed was very comfortable.

Would not recommend for leisure travel, but suited our needs for a student to attend a nearby course.
