Only a 2-minute walk from Montañita downtown, Hotel Kundalini offers large green areas and is located right in front of the sea shore. Fabulous hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. Hot and cold water dispenser at reception area was very useful. We only had a basic room but it was great. Good hot water and pressure. Great bed and linen. Nice AC that didn't hit you whilst in bed. Great breakfast with sand under your feet if you wished with a great view of the sea. Breakfast from a lovely menu cooked to order. Has it's own private beach where you could avoid hawkers. We didn't try the evening meals here but I'm sure they would have been great. This hotel is a short walk along the beach to the main area of town for eating and drinking. Great sunset from here. I would definitely come here again.

Located in Quito, a few steps from Bolivar Theater, Friends Hotel & Rooftop - Historic Center & Museums has accommodations with a terrace and private parking. Room was good. It's a refurbished older building but done up very well. Breakfast was very good and a great view from the roof top dining area. The place is very secure and always attended. Quiet location on a small street with only foot traffic. Close to restaurants and cafes and the old part of Quito. Staff were exceptional in providing information and assistance. Run by younger, folk but they could teach most other hotel operators a thing or two about good customer care and service.

Clean and spacious rooms, very friendly staff, incredible breakfast and the airport pick up and drop off are very well organised. If you need to stay near the airport in Quito, this is the best place.

Staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, and the hotel is beautiful. 11/10 recommend as a place to stay during a layover.

Great hotel with great facilities that, unfortunately, we did not use. Pleasant hotel, close to the city center and airport. Big rooms with very comfortable beds. We used the free taxi service from the airport to the hotel and for 5$ from the hotel to the airport. Great breakfast buffet. Highly recommended
