Fosshotel Mývatn is located next to Lake Mývatn, 4.2 mi to the Mývatn Nature Baths. The hotels provides free WiFi and free private parking. Great, modern and comfortable hotel. Room was big, super clean and comfy. Breakfast was great! View from the hotel (front side) is beautiful. This location is great for exploring the north part of Iceland, around Myvatn lake and part of east part of the island.

Located in Akureyri, 24 miles from Godafoss Waterfall, Hotel Halond has accommodations with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. The rooms come with a patio. Clean & new. Quiet location approx 4k from the centre with the ski resort behind. All uphill from the centre so not ideal to walk, even for an avid hiker! Self checkin with a message send containing a code that lets you in. Rooms ether have a balcony OR a patio that leads to your personal car parking. Each room has charging for an electric car. Out of season there is no breakfast offered but you can use the kitchen with a microwave, toaster & fridges. Good coffee in each room & Netflix. The town is the 2nd largest in Iceland with lots of options for dinners & breakfast.

Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodations 3.1 mi from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. Nice hotel with great view of the lake. Super friendly staff who offered a golf car to carry our luggages into the rooms. GREAT breakfast, very high quality, with omelette/fried eggs made to order.

Located in Jökulsárlón, 6.7 miles from Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, Hótel Jökulsárlón - Glacier Lagoon Hotel provides accommodations with a fitness center, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar.... Our first impression of the hotel was that it looked much larger and more beautiful than in the pictures. We stayed in the family suite, which is a spacious 50 m², perfect for the three of us. The room offers a stunning view, is clean, modern, and well-designed, with a clever TV partition separating the bed from the sofa bed. The bathroom is also impressive, featuring both a shower and a bathtub. Additionally, the room comes with a refrigerator, which was very convenient. The location is ideal for visiting nearby attractions such as Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and the ice caves. The hotel’s dinner was delicious, though on the pricier side. The only downside was that the room felt too dark, and we had to request additional lamps to brighten it up.

Located in Gardur, Lighthouse-Inn offers accommodations with free WiFi and a garden with a sun terrace and sea views. All units feature air conditioning and a satellite flat-screen TV. Lighthouse Inn is a fantastic spot in Gardur only 15mins drive from the airport. We decided not to hire a car and so a taxi cost us about 6000krone from the airport and the next day we bussed into Reykjavik using the public buses. We dined at the hotel restaurant for dinner and were so well looked after by Roberto. The next morning we were treated to a fantastic breakfast! We were hoping to spot the northern lights while out of the city but weren’t lucky this stay but would definitely return again as the Lighthouse Inn feels like such a treat! The lady on reception when we arrived was an absolute delight as well! You won’t be disappointed by a stay here. The facilities are top notch and a walk around the lighthouses is a must, it’s a peaceful and gorgeous place to be.

Set 17 mi from Hella and 7.5 mi from Laugaland, Landhotel features a garden, bar and free WiFi. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. Jacuzzi outside is a plus. The breakfast was super complete. The receptionist guy was extremely friendly and we were called for the northern lights.

Located in Iðunnarstaðir, 27 miles from Thingvellir National Park, Basalt Hotel provides accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. The staff was helpful and accommodating. The hot tub is very nice. Breakfast was varied, we loved the vegan yogurt!

Located in Ölfus, 30 miles from The Pearl, Hotel Kvika has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. we enjoyed our stay in this hotel, very stylish, comfy and delisios breakfast was served. as a bonus we saw a nothernlight through the window.

Located in Siglufjörður, Siglo Hotel by Keahotels offers 4-star accommodations with a terrace and a bar. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a shared lounge, as well as a sauna and a hot tub.... We had a perfect stay at this hotel. The outdoor heated pool was a highlight, offering a relaxing experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making our visit truly enjoyable. The breakfast was perfect, with wide variety of food. We highly recommend this hotel.
