We initially booked two nights but ended up extending our stay because we enjoyed it so much. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

Located in Akureyri, 24 miles from Godafoss Waterfall, Hotel Halond has accommodations with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. The rooms come with a patio. Everything was so much better than expected! We had some issues with getting into the room, reservation etc, and everything was solved so smooth, they answered instantly. The room had fantastic facilities, even en-suite fridge, great bathroom, nice terrace. SUPER quiet. Hottubs were a big plus! Also, the common kitchen... just overall 10/10.

The rooms are very clean, as are the bed linen and towels. Breakfast is very varied, always fresh and delicious. It is quiet and we felt like home. The people at the hotel reception are very nice.
