Magnolia House is ideally located with well thought out room facilities, and interior design/functionality of a very high specification. Our hosts could not do enough for us, and what a great breakfast menu too, set in a welcoming dining area, their passion to deliver great hospitality was evident throughout our stay.

property excellent - obviously the owners were interior designers but they were not caterers: kitchen utilities sparse; perhaps they did not cook?

A really lovely boutique hotel. Right in the middle of everything but still quiet and private. Lovely spacious room, big bed, nice & light with great period features and some modern twists. The breakfast options that were included were very generous and a lovely end to our trip. Very friendly & helpful staff who were willing to accommodate bag drop offs & collection while we went walking.

The ‘Deco’ room we stayed in totally lived up to expectations of a gorgeously designed, luxury and comfortable room. Tucked above The Fig cafe/restaurant you’re right in the middle of town, but the restaurant is quiet by 10 so you can still get a good sleep!
