The loft is a spacious and clean place to relax, unwind and stay at while staying in the quaint town of Clearwater. The beds are super comfortable, the interior space is exceptionally clean and the property is located right in the middle of town, making grocery getting or food trips quick and convenient. Kitchen was well stocked and supplied with everything you'd need. Little things like carpeting on the side of the room where the beds and tv are make it that much better, at least to me. Overall, exceeded my expectations, especially on value.
Providing barbecue facilities, Grizzly Paw B&B offers accommodations in Clearwater. With garden views, this accommodation provides a patio.

Beautiful setting for an escape. Everything was terrific. The hosts were super friendly and the space was clean comfortable well supplied and the most delicious home made foods imaginable. We cooked in one night. As a seasoned traveller this is by far the best B&B ever! This place is truly a labour of love. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The log cabins are just stunning. Immaculate and beautiful in design. The staff are so lovely. It is completely off the beaten track so if you love isolation and peace from it all, this is your setting.

The gateway to Wells Grey Park, Clearwater is a great base camp to explore the numerous waterfalls, river rafting adventures, fishing spots and hiking/biking in the surrounding area. The people have always been friendly and welcoming with my countless visits and the scenery spectacular. Helmcken Falls is a major highlight in Wells Grey Park. Check in at the visitor center to really get a grasp of everything this place has to offer! The main town has good amenities for food, groceries, gas and more. Definitely worth a visit.

Waterfalls in nearby Regional Park ( I think there were 4 of them to see. All were beautiful on their own. Only one needed like 1-hour + hike, rest were closer to the road. Can be seen in half a day easily, before you need to continue driving East or West.

Wells Gray Provincial Park.
Wells Gray Provincial Park. Beautiful scenery full of gorgeous waterfalls, lakes, rivers and creeks. We had breakfast in the Blue Grouse Inn where we stayed and we dined out in Clearwater for our other meals. This Inn is close to most of the key waterfalls. Clearwater is very easy to get around by car. There are numerous activities like rafting, canoeing, etc that you can do. Information centre is very helpful. We even went to my first ever rodeo in nearby Barriere.

Clearwater has everything you need along the #5: groceries, gas , a few restaurants but is not the reason to go here. Go for the hiking, canoeing, kayaking, rafting and camping in Wells Gray Park and Myrtle Lake but be prepared for hot weather along with mosquitoes and black flies in the summer. Dutch Lake is beautiful warm swimming lake just off the #5 with a lovely sand and grassy public beach with wharf and swings for young children.
Our favourite was Yulki at reception who went out of her way to make our stay a happy one (i hope i spelled her name correctly). Hotel is recently renovated and clean. Comfy beds. Perfect for our one night there. There was a small kitchenette for us to enjoy a simple supper and a breakfast on the balcony. Lovely lake with little beach for a swim. Great grocery store nearby as well as several restaurants. Although the highway is close, we enjoyed being a little away from it as i think the other hotels in town would have more road noise.
The couple that ran their motel were great. Very friendly, exceptional customer service. The motel and room although older, was very clean and well maintained. The fabric shades on the rooms large window were a fantastic addition - allowing lots of light during daytime but offering privacy. The larger 5 cup coffee pot in the room was exceptional for a motel / hotel room. The bed was very comfortable. Being able to park right outside your room was terrific.
The rooms were recently remodeled and very clean. There were personal touches in the room: juice and bottled water in the fridge, a quality Nepresso coffee maker and a welcome note. We did not hear traffic as it was a bit off the highway. This also made it feel more secure. Hotels are hit and miss in smaller rural areas, and I do not expect the same quality as in a major urban area. This hotel exceeded our expectations for not being in a metro area.
I was not expecting anything much from this hotel, so was pleasantly surprised when we checked in. Rooms were spacious and despite being on the highway the room was quiet. We did request a room at the back of the property away from the highway and the lady who checked us in was happy to accomodate our request.
We arrived late and finished up eating next door, the food was fresh and tasty.
I don’t do camping as a rule , but after staying here my mind is changed . tents incredible. so comfortable and setting amazing. only 5 minute drive into Clearwater. all facilities are utterly faultless , from the cooking area to the showers/ sauna
we loved it 10/10 guys
It’s beautifully located near a lake which feels like private use. The resort offers useage of kayaks and rowing boats for free which was really great. It has a nice playground and a nice eating area with a bbq. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable.
Clean, roomy and comfortable. I stayed here a few months back and had left a purse with cash behind. I finally returned after several weeks to see I I had by chance left it at this hotel. The purse and ALL the cash had been kept safe. Thank you!
Beautiful cabin, the cabin doesn't do justice to how nice they are.
Spent a lovely couple of nights here and would love to return some day.
Also Wells Gray has some amazing sights and you're right near the action!
The location is fantastic - you're right by the water and next to the public beach! The hotel offers canoe and paddleboard rentals. There are also firepits and barbecues for use by guests!
Perfect stay in Clearwater! We really enjoyed our stay with Doris and she learned us so much about the Canadian history. Super authentic and warm host. Would recommend to everyone!
Good clean room. Advertised as 2 queen beds and pet friendly. Pets were allowed , no problem but were given a room with double because we had pets. Disappointing.
