The rooms were clean and had a good amount of space in them. The pool was big but the shallow end is not very shallow(4ft). My daughter couldn’t go in without us holding her and she is 6.

Miramichi is a nice city - people who live and work there seem friendly. We were there for the solar eclipse event at the airport and it was a good turnout. The restaurants here are the best! The Odonaghues Irish Pub is superb! It has great food and beer and phenomenal waitresses and kitchen staff... highly recommend this pub for an authentic Irish pub ambiance and great service. Food far is reasonably priced. https://odonaghues.com/ The best chef that we came across was at Hennessy's pub https://www.hennessyspub.ca/ - authentic Jamaican jerk chicken and smoked meats - all delicious... highly recommend.
The old part of Miramichi near the ODonaghues Irish pub is a nice place to stroll around and take in some unique shops and the riverfront scenery.

Don't believe anything David Adams Richards wrote about the place. It's a lovely, peaceful place. I just chilled here for a couple of days. Had a 'crafted' beer at the New Maritime Beer Co. Then, some tasty food at the food truck at Pleasant and Regent. Had my breakfast at the inimitable Mill Cove Coffee (a great place to meet locals, "No worry."). Walked down by the charming wharf and lighthouse at Ritchie park. Walked across the abandoned bridge and over to 'Bugbear Island.' Stopped in at John's Used Books & Souvenirs. The captain is a fascinating guy, but I'm afraid he might not be around for much longer. Stop into the Black Horse Tavern, for a retro experience, Etc. etc. I love Miramichi.

The venue was exactly what i needed.
The venue was exactly what i needed. It was enough out of the way to focus on work but close enough for family if needed. The local area was nice enough and i drove a little further afield to some stunning locations in the mornings. Pool was very warm and quiet, staff were incredibly friendly and on had 24/7

It is a nice little area.
It is a nice little area. Lovely and well maintained old buildings and you get to see Newcastle, Miramichi and Chatham as they are all part of this area. Pleasant little cafes and lots of great places to eat. People were friendly and very helpful. We felt right at home in this lovely area. The river views were stunning.

Lovely ppl. Very friendly, and helpful.
Most r of Irish decent, & you can tell they’re proud of it.
A small taste of Ireland on Canadian soil.
The immigrants from other countries seem to fit rt in.
Down home food: Kingsway Restaurant .
The Portage (just past Chatham, on Hwy to Moncton). Both have gluten free options.
This hotel is one of the best in New Brunswick comparable with the Algonquin Resort St. Andrews by-the-Sea. It’s riverside location, the quality of the rooms and the friendliness of staff have charmed us. We came for 1 night and finally stayed 3 nights. A breakfast or a dinner by the river at its restaurant 1809 is a must have experience!
Very clean, spacious rooms with pristine, upgraded bathrooms and plenty of high quality towels. Helpful accessories such as refrigerator, microwave, and iron/ironing board. This hotel is currently being upgraded and they appear to be doing an exceptional job.
The room and the bathroom were clean, comfortable and spacious for the short stay we were having. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Since the hotel is directly facing the river, there was a nice cool breeze entering the room.
Horrible customer service, guest was evicted from the hotel and was threatened the police will be invited if he doesn’t leave simply because there was double charge and the hotel was asked what happened
This hotel was close to family we were visiting as well as walking distance into town. The beds were super comfortable. The bathroom was a good size. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
good breakfast but I didn’t nescafé coffee machine coffee. Also a little off putting that when we arrived at hotel some one fished a coffee bit out of ashcan and then sat down and smoked it…
Bathroom upgrades were really nice.
Great water pressure and tons of hot water.
Friendly staff that were very easy to get along with.
Overall a good hotel for the price!
