Located in the central square of Ainsa, you have easy access to everything in this charming medieval village.
You can unpack your car right outside the hotel, then drive it a short distance to the public car park. It's very picturesque. The hotel is small, and quite compact, so don't expect a large , luxury room, but comfortable with a modest breakfast downstairs.

The mountain views are very nice. The reality of what you find when you´re finally up there is more impresive than what you see in the booking pictures.

It was a fantastic hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful (despite my poor Spanish) and the decor is quirky but well placed. Above all it was very clean!

I loved the forest and lake areas directly around Gerbe, but also the historic town of Ainsa. very very clean air. The Host Señor Miguel is absolutely dedicated to the guests, very friendly, and speaks some English as well. I ate all my meals at Casa Gerbe, and it was delicious, my dietary request were fulfilled and expectations surpassed.
Transportation can be organised, i walked to and from Ainsa, and the forests and lake are very close, a few hundred meters.
Bird watching, nature walks, Kayaking, cold water baths, or cool in the summer, plus many more.
The air is super clean, i have witnessed many bio indicators such as numerous species of Lichen, mushrooms and plants.

Host takes very good care of his quests, with a personal touch. He gives a lot of information about the area and I could even use his hide for watching birds! He makes every day different, well-prepared meals and being a vegetarian was no problem at all. Location perfect for exploring the Pyrenees, in a quiet village, just outside Ainsa. Many birds around the house.
I would certainly go back if I were in the area!
