We were met by Melissa, our host, upon arrival and shown the features of the accommodation. This was appreciated. There were so many things to like about the newish apartment. It was spotlessly clean, well designed and packed with items to ensure guests had an enjoyable stay. The bathroom was a pleasure to use and the combined upstairs living area/bedroom spacious and comfortable. The facilities in the kitchen were great and would definitely make a longer stay pleasurable. There was a good sized fridge, gas hotplate, microwave, stove, kettle, toaster, coffee machines, etc, etc and cutlery and crockery for six people. Spare supplies for cleaning were left under the sink. Many little features were noted, such as plants and room deodorisers. Parking on site was easy. This was our third time visiting and staying in the area and we were impressed with the apartment. We hope to return next year but will try to stay longer to see many of the sites we didn't have time to revisit and to make full use of the excellent facilities.

The view from the rooms and the location of the hotel are great, the breakfast room is splendid, the food served for breakfast is very good. And beautiful and calm Tarascon-sur-Ariège is well worth a visit, although it doesn't range among the best known holiday destinations in France. Just go there and have a look yourself!
