Our recent stay at Villa de Jardin, a breathtaking villa in Seychelles, surpassed all our expectations and left us with memories that will last a lifetime. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the sheer beauty of the surroundings and the warm hospitality of the staff. This review is dedicated to sharing our incredible experience and expressing our gratitude to Pemma, the exceptional manager, who truly made our vacation extraordinary. First and foremost, Villa de Jardin itself was nothing short of a dream come true. We were immediately struck by the spaciousness and tasteful design, which perfectly blended contemporary elegance with the island's natural charm. The expansive windows offered panoramic views of the sparkling ocean, transforming each waking moment into a picturesque scene straight out of a postcard. The villa was immaculately clean, reflecting the utmost attention to detail and ensuring a comfortable and pristine environment throughout our stay. It felt like our own private haven, where we could unwind and recharge amidst the splendor of Seychelles. The attention to guests' needs was simply outstanding. Every amenity we could possibly desire was readily available, ensuring our convenience and comfort. Villa de Jardin was equipped with all the necessary facilities, allowing us to feel at home during our stay. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as plush linens, luxurious toiletries, and an abundance of towels, which added an extra layer of indulgence to our experience. It was evident that the owners had meticulously considered every aspect to create a haven that catered to their guests' every desire. However, what truly sets Villa de Jardin apart is the remarkable staff, with Pemma at the helm. Pemma's exceptional warmth, genuine care, and attention to detail made a world of difference. From the moment we met her, she went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfection.

The house has 3 large bedrooms (1 with en-suite shower) so it would be ideal for a group or two families. There is an air conditioner in each bedroom and one more in both the living and dining areas, so the house is very comfortable in the local climate. Upon arrival, they were already waiting for us. We found the place thanks to Veronique’s recommendations, but Google maps shows it incorrectly. Large parking. We were also given a compliment from a small set of products and a tray of fruit. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, including oil, salt and pepper, tea and coffee. There is also a microwave. There is also an outdoor grill, but you will need charcoal and also the ability to find fishermen)) There is a washing machine (and powder). The house is protected by an alarm system, which gave it a feeling of security. As already written, sometimes dogs bark and roosters crow around, I’m a light sleeper, but I was okay and we tried to get up early. The Internet was normal, not super-fast, but I downloaded stories normally and the child watched cartoons. The speed depends on the time of day, in the evening it is slower (we noticed this in other places where we lived). The house was super clean, and so was the pool. Veronique and Fadia are always in touch. We spent our first 6 nights there after arriving and it was perfect for us to explore the northern part of the island. Firstly, Port Launay beach - there is perfect snorkelling and quite lively reefs. Secondly, it is very close to the pass with the Morne Blanc Trail and Copolia Trail. There are also water springs where you can refill your water bottles. There is also a tea factory there, it’s very tasty, stop for lunch! It’s also close to Victoria, where probably the island’s only large and good store with fresh fish (STC Hypermarket), I would advise you to go straight to it and buy groceries before arriving at the villa (we also bought papaya there, it’s delicious).

The property was modern, warm, family friendly and tropical atmosphere as described. The facilities next doors were walking distance including the beaches. We had a lovely stay at Riverside Residence, will definitely recommend and come back again. Thank you Joe for going extra miles making the stay enjoyable.

Perfect holiday; Beautiful beach, beautiful poolside, nice breakfast, amazing restaurants for dinner, the alcohol is expensive, but there is a shop in front of the hotel where you can buy affordable alcohol. Nice little coral reef in front of the hotel for going snorkeling. There is also a turtle around there. The staff is really friendly and you always have holiday atmosphere. Like it should be.
