All units come with a terrace with mountain views, a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave and a toaster, and a private bathroom with hot tub. Brendan and his partner were so accommodating. They were quick to respond to messages and wanted to accommodate our early check in, which they did and were happy to answer any questions. The facilities on the property far exceeded any expectations and they really thought about every comfort and amenity possible. We stayed in Pale Chanting cottage; it has a hot tub, an outdoor bath, outdoor and indoor fire place, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bed and stunning surroundings. Everything from warm throw blankets, extra fire wood, shower gel and kitchen utensils were supplied. For the price paid, I felt we were spoilt rotten. I will 100% be returning regularly to this property for a break away from the city and even a romantic escape.

Set 4 km outside of Stellenbosch, Wildlife Retreat on a Wine-Farm is situated on Remhoogte Wine Estate. The working farm boasts views of the Stellenbosch mountains, vineyards and a game camp.

The estate offers a room equipped with a flat-screen satellite TV, free WiFi, a microwave, mini fridge, kettle and toaster. It has a separate bathroom and a private patio. Peaceful room with a little wildlife right at your back porch. A perfect escape from the city. Hosts were super nice and helpful. Will definitely try to come back

Located in Montagu, the recently renovated Olive Stone Farm Cottages provides accommodation 600 metres from Hick's Art Gallery and 3.1 km from Montagu Golf Club. This farm stay features a private pool, a garden, barbecue facilities, free WiFi and free private parking. The farm stay has an outdoor fireplace and a hot tub. This place was even more than we could have hoped for. The cottages where so cosy and beautifully decorated. Johan and Wanda are lovely hosts and we loved the whole farm life. A place to go back to.

Guests can relax with a spa treatment in the privacy of their chalet or order a picnic baskets from the farm to explore the surrounding areas, waterfalls and mountains on a hike. There are several hiking trails in the area and staff can assist with bookings of experienced guides. The cottage is nestled in the most scenic part of the farm with amazing mountain and vineyard views. It’s super comfortable with excellent layout and rhe barbecue facilities are the best we have ever experienced. Our stay was most memorable and we will definitely book in again in the near future.

Situated just outside the historic town of Tulbagh on the slopes of the Saronsberg Mountain, It features Saronsberg wine tasting room. The facilities are outstanding, like a bathtub, indoor and outdoor braai. The luxury toiletries and complimentary cookies and wine were very nice. We enjoyed the swimming pool. The wine tasting at the reception is very close and a great value for money. There is a nice walking trail on the farm.

At the foot of the Montagu Mountains, Kogman & Keisie Guest Farm offers accommodation within a 10-minute walk of the town centre. This organic farm features olive trees, a small vineyard and farm animals. The room is beautiful - we were really impressed. The breakfast was fantastic, and we really enjoyed being able to walk around the farm.
