It was a very pleasant stay at Garreg Ddu and everything was on the top level. Great location to reach all main attractions of the Snowdonia. Perfectly clean and comfortable accommodations, the fireplace added extra coziness after long hikes. The washer and dryer are really helpful as well. The host made exceptional guidance on all the details of the trip, parking, and local food recommendations.

Everything was perfect. The house was very comfortable and instantly felt like home. Richard the host had left delicious welsh butter and milk in the fridge and a loaf of bread and then arrived with yummy fruit cake. The kitchen was well stock including tea bags and washing machine tabs. We had a great time and would definitely return.

The location was incredible, great views and a quiet little spot. You could only hear the waterfall close by or the cows in the next field. The welcome pack was unexpected and a lovely touch from great hosts. The cottage had everything needed for a home away from home.

It was spotlessly clean on arrival. I had a letter from the owner about a week before my stay, which included good information about local amenities, which was very useful. I met the owner once during my stay, and he gave me a home made Bara Brith, which was absolutely delicious, probably the best Bara Brith I've ever had (and I'm not exaggerating).
