The Kings Arms is in the heart of Old Amersham, known for its exclusive boutiques and antiques shops. Food and drink is served in the Kings Bar & Bistro, which is located in the same building as the hotel. There is a local golf course, while Ascot and Windsor racecourses are within easy reach.

As much as possible, the property is kept in its original state, truly an historical treasure.

A 10-minute walk from the centre of Great Missenden is the Nag’s Head Hotel, a 4-star 15th century inn. Guests can enjoy contemporary styled interiors, Anglo-French fusion cuisine and free Wi-Fi.

Nearby Great Missenden is home to the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre, and in the local area there are many quaint villages and pretty country walks to discover.

I liked the back patio area with different types of seating.

All units are fitted with a flat-screen TV with streaming services, microwave, a kettle, a a bath or shower, a hair dryer and a desk. Some units have a private entrance. At the guest house, units are fitted with bed linen and towels.

We enjoyed the friendly welcoming reception, attention to detail. Having a fridge, access to a well stocked kitchen and being able to use the washing machine and tumble dryer certainly made our stay that bit easier.

Buffet breakfast facility was excellent with a wide choice of both hot and cold food, drinks, fresh fruit, cereals etc. To be honest a number of the waiting staff struggled with understanding English but can't fault all staff for wanting to do everything possible to help you enjoy your breakfast experience. We had quite a large room with 2 double beds and we were located on the 4th floor where it was very quiet. Overall experience was excellent and would happily return if visiting the area.

Great location , 5 minutes to the train station. Shops restaurants all local. Car park next to apartment, we chose just park and parked on a local resident's drive which was in a quiet location more secure and only a few minutes walk away.

Nice quiet location. Quaint looking pub. We were in rooms in new annexe which were modern and clean. On ground floor other hotel guests can walk past your french doors so curtains need to stay closed for privacy.

By far the best host and stay. The host Jean went above and beyond honestly there arent enough words to express how comfortable we were with an infant. We were so grateful for the extra hours so baby could nap before heading home. I can not recommend enough. The apartment was spacious and very clean. Location is excellent and quiet. I look forward to staying at Warwick Studios again.
