the gym is really nice although some of the machines are a bit dated, however, there's ample room, an in-door and outdoor pool (weather permitting of course), friendly staff. Breakfast also quite nice and rooms are spacious and without carpet which makes for better cleaning.

What Tirana lacks in great architecture it makes up for with atmosphere. Enjoyed my time in Tirana, great food some nice bars and very friendly people. The city has a buzz from morning until night and really feels welcoming. Prices are great there is a good choice of great food. Whilst it does not have great architecture it does have some interesting architecture and it is a great city for a short break.

Good vibe in Tirana.
Good vibe in Tirana. Extremely surprising coffee cuture with great affordable coffee on every corner. Friendly people, English widely spoken (although Italian is a strong preference here). Food represents great value for money. Easy to walk and navigate, plenty of playgrounds for kids.

Nice in parts.
Nice in parts. Central area is pleasant and parts (the ‘block’) even posh, albeit in a non Albanian, eurotrash kinda way.
Many cafes but as everyone chain smokes you will need to stay inside to avoid secondary smoke everywhere.
National museum is awful and mostly only in Albanian. Not many other sights.
Food is ok if you like grilled meat and ‘white’ cheese.

In Tirana, the restaurants are very nice, and the food is excellent. Walking is recommended there because there are parks where you can sit and enjoy some time. A lot of young people give life to the city.

The traffic is crazy.
The traffic is crazy. BUT, the drivers are courteous and allow others to merge so no complaint. Parking is also difficult in the mayhem. If driving, I would always make sure I have guaranteed parking and stay in a hotel close to Skanderbeg Square.

It’s clean, untouched, and authentic !
It’s clean, untouched, and authentic ! I sincerely do hope and pray that tourists would respect the country and not trash it. Albanians are honest and they do their part as citizens . Also, i noticed that they’re honest with money .
It was clean, the AC worked quite well, it wasn’t loud despite being in the center of the city. It smelled nice and was obviously well-maintained.
Anni (the proprietor) speaks very good English, and he truly went *above and beyond* to ensure our stay was pleasant. He was happy to weigh in on plans, recommend tourist attractions, call us a taxi, negotiate in Albanian on our behalf etc. His father also was often there; he spoke excellent Italian, and we were able to ask him for whatever help we needed as well.
This hotel is modern and stylish in every way, just as it appears in the photos. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the staff was very helpful. This is one of the best hotels in the area, and offers a great value. It's only a short drive from the airport and has good connections to both Tirana and Durres. This is a fantastic place to stay if you want to spend a few days in Albania away from a crowded city centre. It has a nice restaurant as well, and the food served is excellent.
Metro Hotel Tirana is a relatively new hotel, with a great location, near the best restaurants, bars and center. What was amazingly surprising were the very reasonable prices given the quality of the rooms and its location. But the best part of it, is the staff, especially the two girls at the reception. Wonderful service. I am Albanian myself, living in Switzerland and I must say I have rarely encountered such accommodating staff. My daughters and I will certainly come back !
The flat is located in a very central location just a short walk from the city centre. Matias who met me at the property to do the check in was extremely friendly and always available via whatsapp when I had further questions. In addition, I was able to get a parking spot right inside the building which made the beginning of my trip through Albania pleasant, as I did not have to worry where to leave the car whilst exploring Tirana. Overall, can highly recommend this flat.
The host was AMAAAAZING!!!! She organized an airport pick up, gave us a mini tour around the city center before dropping us at the apartment. She delivered the keys in person and kept in touch with me throughout my whole stay not only in her appartment but in Albania which was MAGNIFICENT!! The location of the apartment is also pretty good for doing some tourism in Tirana and for having a drink late at night too! 100% recommended. If I go back, ill stay there!
All good: great location - 15 mins by walk from the city center; spacious apartment with all the facilities, well equipped kitchen, AC, comfy bed and clean bathroom.
Breakfast was served in the cafe downstairs - tasty sandwiches, fresh juices and delicious coffee (one of the best we tried in Albania).
Around the accommodation there are some great restaurants, multiple supermarkets and different small shops. Very convenient. Would stay again once in Tirana :)
City Center Cute and Comfy Apartment is a perfect place for a short stay in Tirana. It is close to the city center, clean and comfortable. Julia is a great host. She arranged our transportation (airport pick up and around the city), answered all our questions about Tirana. The building is modern and has elevator. It was very important for us since we were travelling with big suitcases. I am going to book the apartment for our next trip to Albania.
Elisa Hotel was the best hosting experience I ever had in Tirana. The staff was phenomenal, the location was not more than 10 minutes flat-enjoyable walk from the city center plaza, the car care and service for parking was perfect etc. The best part was the room that was super clean, premium looking and very well kept. Will be visiting again for sure!
Staff - Location - Cleanliness - Strong WiFi signal.
Loved the bed mattress quality!
Very central location, close to everything in city centre just by walking. Bus to airport is only about 10 min walk from the Hotel, as well as The Opera House, The National Museum, the Bunker Museum, Tirana Castle as well.
Highly recommend 👌🏽
What an amazing place in Tirana. It was our first hotel in Albania, and we loved it so much. It is about 20 min walking from the center, in a great quiet area.
The staff was great and the food there was really good. The rooms are clean and the bathroom is quite big.
Amazing stay, and the turtles are awesome :)
We stooped for one night in Tirana before heading south. The hotel location is at the heart of Tirana so it was perfect to make the most of the city in a short time.
Our room was spacious and clean. WiFi was excellent compared to other hotels in Albania. Staff are so friendly and polite. I highly recommend it!
I have not traveled to many European countries. Just Georgia, North Macedonia, and Albania. I have to say though that this hotel was the best I have stayed at. The staff were amazing and helpful. My friend and I could not have asked for a better stay since it was perfect.
The villa is quite pretty and 5 min walking to the center of Tirana.
The breakfast was out of this world: typical Albanian breakfast made daily by a very welcoming cook.
The hotel adapted to our arrival time, despite having had a long delay from our flight.
Breakfast included, friendly staff, great location in the middle of city center. They let me do an early checkin which was nice.
Good Albanian beer. Cheap but good coffee.
Slept well in the hotel beds.
Exceptional hotel. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and very quiet area for sleeping. The city centre was just a short walking distance from the hotel. Great breakfast and variety of choices.
Good location (city centre is at walkable distance) and very good choice of typical Albanian restaurants in 10 mins walk range. Hotel is new and rooms are large. Staff young and kind.
Nice small boutique hotel. Located in the city centre close to many amenities. Very welcoming stuff. Huge and clean room. Excellent breakfast. Value for the money.
Fantastic well run hotel, close to the center, The staff are super helpful. And the food is very good. Tirana, and Albania is a fantastic place to visit,
Location is very good as there are quite a few shops around. Also it takes just a short walk to a city center.
Shower cabin is always a plus in Albania :)
Faces & Places is an urban oasis. It’s a modern boutique hotel not far from the city center. The breakfast was lovely—complete with homemade croissants!
