The host, Anila, was awesome, and so was her family. She immediately gave me a run down of the area and tips on places to visit and and even helped me with a bike to get around the national park (~ 4km) and around town. Overall, she and her family were very welcoming and made my stay a pleasure. I also had full access to the kitchen, which was quite helpful, and I appreciated the excellent tea and fruits from the garden:)

Excelent location as a base to explore the Divjaka-Karavasta. The room was perfect and we had a good breakfast in the morning, prepared by the owner. She does not speak any useful English but uses a phone translator so, no worries!

This family run hotel is so perfect. Accommodation and serene gardens were immaculate in all aspects.
The on-site restaurant food (incl. breakfast) was top class (authentic, locally grown / sourced and very well presented).
The service from the host and his staff / family was fantastic; and it was a pleasure to talk and share some quality time with Ansi (host) on one evening.

Loved exploring the nature at Divjake-Karavasta National...
Loved exploring the nature at Divjake-Karavasta National Park and the lagoon. We also used a rented bike to follow the trails in the forest. There are also several hiking trails you could do. Definitely worth the visit!

It's a small city, it's not for parties or sightseeing. But.
It's a small city, it's not for parties or sightseeing. But. The is a national park and a natural sea cost, where I could spend 3-4 days to explore everything. If you love nature or birdwatching, it's your city.
Oh, and there was 200 flamingos in the lagoon, and like 40 kentish plovers on the shore. Lucky!!!
