It is hard to comment objectively as this was low season and much of the restaurants and facilities were closed , but it is obvious there is much more in season. The apartment was spacey with a sea view and good value for the money. In October it was not overcrowded with the tourists. Weather was warm and sunny during our stay and there was reasonably priced resort restaurants near by. Golem is the quieter beach down from Durres. This is a touristy destination. It does have lovely bars and restaurants but not the character if yre looking for the idillic beach scene. The best is the location and facilities. It is a very beautiful place, a lot of shows. I only didn´t feel so safe, because people who is not in the hotel can enter and use the swiming pool. My daughter get stolen by another child, who was not in the hotel and those people who are not in the hotel are using the chairs from the swimmingpool and sometimes we didn´t have a spot to sit. Another recomendation is to put more garbage cans, because the beach was full of cigarette butts.AAnonymousCroatia

Location was great as you could walk 20mins in each direction and have a number of restaurants and bars. The deck was large and was very nice to have in the evenings. Beach area was nice. People do start reserving spots early (7am). But the staff do a good job making sure no one takes more space then they should. Each room was entitled to 1 area (2 loungers and 1 umbrella). Left plenty of space and we never had a problem getting a spot on the beach. I felt the value was well worth it.

The apartment includes: air conditioning, a well-equipped kitchen, a washing machine in the bathroom and the living room has access to the balcony and directly to the swimming pool. The apartment is located in a quiet area. We needed 10 minutes to get to the beach and to the shops (travel agencies that organize tours around Albania) and restaurants. Great contact with the hosts. We recommend staying at the Costal Charm Apartment!

The apartment is located in Grand Blue Fafa hotel area but it is not a part of the hotel and trust me that is a good thing. It is cleaner, better equipped and more spacious than our room in Grand Blue Fafa Hotel (which supposed to be a 5 star hotel) in which we stayed before renting this place. Also the owner was very nice and helpful. Overall it is a shame our stay there was so short.
