The views of Nahuel Huapi were amazing. I liked the personal fireplaces, and the communication with the front desk was easy and they were quite responsive. It’s not far from Bariloche city center either. 5-ish minute drive, and Ubers are very available.
Boasting wonderful views of the Nahuel Huapi lake and the surrounding Andes Mountain Range, this hotel offers a characteristic German atmosphere with rustic, traditional furnishings.

Location was in the centre so easy for restaurants and pick up for tours.

Unfortunately, the worse property I ever stayed at. It almost turns into a joke where even the staff laughs with you.
1. 5 mins after reservation is made they text me saying they will change me to a different hotel because my room has a problem. Lesser $ but did not offer to pay me difference.
2. Then they go back on their text and say that they have now fixed the problem.
3. I arrive and they say I need to pay $40usd more for “a view”. We had already booked with a view.
4. They then proceed to give me key to an occupied room so I barge in on a couple.
5. They then give me a room with no view.
6. I had to spend the night there even though I had Just been charged 40 for a view.
7. Next morning I get a room w a view and as I am closing door, the handle completely falls off. Now I cannot even close the place. But I can open.
8. Wash hands and faucet falls off.
9. Turn lights on and outlet falls off.
10. Elevator gets stuck and clearly needs maintenance. Every time it stops it feels it is about to break and free fall.
11. I was nice and asked booking to help me get some sort of discount or rebate or maybe a free night since I had booked for 6 total.
I got nothing. They said the owner has 7 hotels. I would suggest he closes one or two in order to improve quality.
The view was nice and the staff at the hotel but management is clearly only interested in making money even if it’s by tricking people into booking from a long distance.
The hotel is in no condition to be operating. The elevator I am afraid is days from causing a death.
I would not recommend this place at all and hopefully someone will do something about it.

San Carlos de Bariloche is located on the shores of Nahuel Huapi Lake and surrounded by the magnificent Nahuel Huapi National Park. Perched among 2000-metre high mountains, the town is one of the biggest winter sports resorts in South America. It is the Argentinean capital of artisan chocolate, and mixes Central European influence with native traditions.
Originally populated by different native tribes, the modern settlement grew in the last decades of the 19th century around the shop of the German immigrant Carlos Wiederhold. Its development reached a peak in the 1930s, with the completion of the railroad, the creation of the national park, and the construction of several emblematic buildings. The Civic Centre and the Neo-Gothic cathedral, as well as some famous Bariloche hotels were built to resemble a Swiss village.
The city is one of the most popular destinations in Argentina and a gateway to Patagonia. Hotels, luxury resorts, guest houses, B&Bs and hostels, are part of Bariloche’s large range of accommodation. It has famous ski stations like Mount Catedral, and is also the traditional destination for students in their last year of secondary school.
A 2-hour flight from Buenos Aires to Bariloche Airport is the quickest way to reach the town. If you’re planning a trip to Patagonia, don’t miss the Bariloche hotel deals available on Booking.com!

It is a very picturesque area, but unfortuately we only had about 1/2 a day of good weather while we were there. We drove the Rue de Sieta Lagos but had to turn around halfway there due to encountering snow. The rest of our stay was very rainy and cold. It was fall, but was told that it was extremely early to be having snow. The town is cute but can be fully taken in in a couple hours or so. There was way more we could have done if the weather had been nicer.

the amazing views, their breakfast room, they had the best sushi restaurant with inside or outside sitting area overlooking lakes, mountains and award winning sushi.
getting around was easy we had our own rental car and visited other towns. I would avoid booking the type of room in the old part of the Hotel, they have a new and better section. they do have a well train staff that offers area tours, we drove to different areas ,visiting Cerro Tronador,Villa Angostura,Circuito chico, having more time to enjoy the views. Roads are safe to drive.

The volunteers that run the hostel are really friendly and helpful. The location is perfect and just a short walk to everything that you need. They have a kitten, who is such a character and makes your stay too. The breakfast here is the best breakfast I have had in a hostel in Argentina. They make their own bread, there is delicious blueberry jam, dulce de leche, peanut butter and then cereal, oats, fruit, yogurt and coffee! It is really good value for money and the music gives it a really cool vibe.
everything was perfect, we could not have asked for better. the staff was friendly and helpful. the room and common area was very clean and comfortable. the restaurant was wonderful for breakfast and dinner, and were very gracious & creative about accommodating dietary restrictions. the location for exploring nature in Bariloche can’t be beat- you are 2 minutes off the circuito chico. the private beach was also lovely & we enjoyed kayaking. it’s one of the loveliest hotels I’ve ever stayed at!
Well worth a lake view room! The staff were very friendly, patient with our Spanish (or lack of!) and really helpful when I accidentally left my bag in a taxi. We enjoyed relaxing in the hotel and enjoying the spa and pool as much as discovering Bariloche. The location was a short walk from the centre and easy to get on the main road towards Llao Llao or the airport.
The place is ok. The location is not great, far from downtown and on a hill. The girls at the reception are very nice, but they are not there all the time and it makes difficult to communicate with them. If you go as a tourist and want a hotel or a place that you have 24 hr front desk help go to another place. Otherwise For leisure and relax is great.
The staff is super friendly and professional. They are always available to help and very attentive to detail, The room is clean, modern, comfortable, and has incredible views, the hotel's location is amazing, far enough from the city to get more peace, but sufficiently close if you want to head into town (you will need a car).
Good location for a one night trip
Huge room and a good view
Lots of storage space which wasn't required for us, but may benefit longer stay travellers.
Complimentary chocolate and water as well as a tea tray (the latter has been missing in lots of hotels around Argentina on our trip)
Great location. Close to Town Hall, bus stops to various places such as Cerro Otto, Puerto Panuelo, Llao Llao, Cerro Catedral, etc. Apartment has everything I need, including kitchen and washer/dryer combo. Cooking supplies (olive oil, vinegar, salt , perpper, etc) were a great bonus.
Superb relaxed hotel in a great location with super friendly staff, a nice restaurant and impeccably clean rooms. Very popular so parking can be tight sometimes but we'd love to return and have the fondest memories. We even made new friends there who shared our view of Huemul.
Very well located hotel. Has no breakfast but is practically right besides a very nice bakery. Staff is always helpful. Few steps away from everything you need in the city, including nice restaurants, supermarkets, stores, tour agencies and so on. Comfortable bed. Clean room.
Only plus on the location - to get to Llao Llao/Otto for hikes/views or to do the boat trip to Victoria Island you are closer than if you stayed in town
Good wifi
Good hot showers
Well stocked kitchen facilities/utensils
I did book last minute this hotel and they help me a lot to organize my taxi. They also make sure I have a take away snack as I will miss the breakfast.
They also give you an welcome drink and the personal are amazing !
Amazing place to stay, the property is huge with great rooms, spa facility and indoor warm pool. Hotel has 24 hour checkin and they were available at every point to assist us.
The view we had from the room 1106, the hotel is located very close from downtown, Havana and the ice bar. The staff was really nice and the rooms were super clean.
Fantastic location, comfortable rooms and a great price. It is a family run hotel and all the staff are so so nice and warm. They really made our stay special.
Excellent hotel with lake view from your window, conveniently located 5 minutes away from Bariloche town and ~20 minutes away from hiking near Llao Llao
