The Trofana is a beautiful and incredible hotel that is perfectly maintained with excellent staff. It was the best service I have ever received at a hotel. The rooms a spacious with amazing bathrooms and comfortable beds. All of the food at the Trofana Royal was excellent. I have never experienced better service than I experienced at the Trofana restaurant. It seemed that all you had to do was think of something and someone was there to make it happen. The restaurant staff was not only efficient, but they were all very friendly as well. Everyone also spoke good English. Very convenient ski lockers in the lower level with a ski rental shop right in the building, and a short walk to the lifts. It was very convenient.

Place for experienced ski/snowboarders to go. Runs are challenging with mainly reds and blacks and the only way down to resort is a red run. Lifts are all very modern and fast with a barely a que anywhere.
The resort is pretty expensive with lots of high end luxury restaurants and bars with great food and wine. It is quite a compact resort so probably only takes 20 minutes to walk from one side to the other.

One of the largest completely connected skiresorts in Austria (with high altitude). In my opinion, it's the second best to St Anton (i.e. Ski Arlberg). Really great place but I'd recommend it for good skiers only.

Ischgl is a great ski resort.
Ischgl is a great ski resort. It is big enough, the show is a high quality and there are a lot of restaurants and aprés ski places. It is a dream place for someone who likes to ski, but also enjoys the party afterwards.

Massive mountain but not challenging - plenty of easy wide runs for beginner and intermediate skiers making it good for families. Lots of restaurants on the mountain made it easy to stop for lunch and breaks. The morning gondola is a crush to get on - but after that the lifts move fast and are in good condition. Lots of apres bars. Make dinner reservations in Ischgl restaurants if you want any hope of securing a table during busy 6:30pm/7pm dinner service.

Great skiing area nice and high so no problem with snow.
Great skiing area nice and high so no problem with snow. Efficient lifts . Good mountain restaurants with excellent toilet facilities. Best toilets I’ve come across in 40 years skiing. Nice wide pistes well maintained. Best to get to restaurants around 12 as they get very crowded later.

This is the best of the best.
This is the best of the best. Great ski area, top end apres ski and restaurants. Wonderful atmosphere and pretty village. The locals are personally very invested in the present and the future of the resort. Massive investment into facilities. An example to other Austrian ski resorts.
We were 4 friends traveling together staying in one of the apartments. Family-owned business and very friendly and welcoming.
There is a free bus to the city-ski-area is just down the street, very easy and fast. We were surprised how well that worked. If going out partying in the night, in Ischgl city, expect 20 euro taxa ride home in the night - but only 5 minute taxa-ride.
We had a very nice stay and would without a doubt come again! :-)
Thank you very much family Walser.
The owners were very hospitable and friendly people. It felt like home away from home. Exceeded all expectations. The room for 3 people was very spacious and the food was excellent. On top of that a ski hire shop was next door and the main silveretta ski lift was literally 5 minutes walk away from hotel. Oh yes and the hotel is situated in a,quieter area of Ishgl , so we got a good night's sleep.
Breakfast was INCREDIBLE! My husband said it was one of the best breakfast buffets he has ever had. The eggs were perfectly fried with little chives sprinkled on top. The staff, everyone on the staff was FABULOUS!!!! Like more than I have ever experienced and I travel for my job and stay in hotels all the time. The price was reasonable for such a luxury high end place.
Beautiful design hotel, great location, spa is amazing, fantastic food at breakfast and dinner. Staff were amazing. The restaurant manager in particular was exceptional! She was very friendly and professional with all guests, including lots of little children who seemed to flock to her, but she took it in her stride. She is a real star of the hotel!
Location super close to city center and ski lifts and especially very close to the end of one slope for the end of the day.
Sauna, excellent to use after a nice day on the slopes.
Owners very much involved, making sure that everything is in order.
could buy the ski passes from the hotel
Owner and staff were super friendly and warm, they created a family-like atmosphere.
Some of those home-made sauces at breakfast were unbelievable.
Hotel is located “downtown,” on the main street, surrounded by bars and restaurants, a few steps away from the Silvretta gondola.
Very nice atmosphere in the hotel.
Location a bit off the beaten track, but silence guaranteed. In Ischgl everything is close, so a 5-minute walk to the ski lift was not a problem for us. Breakfasts very good with a lot of choice. Comfortable ski room and convenient garage.
very nice and clean hotel. The rooms are also steam cleaned before other visitors check in. The rooms were spacious and very clean. In general the service was good. For breakfast you had plenty of choice for a hotel in a ski area and very friendly service
The atmosphere of the hotel was very warm and welcoming, while still being very stylish. I felt right at home as everything was very clean and whenever I needed something, they managed a way to get it for me!
The staff was so wonderful and welcoming we felt so comfortable the whole trip we didn’t want to leave. We‘ll definitely be back in the future and recommend our friends and family to visit this hotel! :-)
large apartment, well equipped, comfortable and quiet
very helpful host
close to ski bus stop but also only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Ischgl
heated boot rack was great!
Very clean, extremely friendly staff, facilities were top notch, including the spa. Good breakfast spread for the size of the hotel and the food was fresh and tasty.
Comfortable apartment for a family of 5 with 2 full bathrooms very close to ski slopes and Ischgl village and supermarket. Hostess is very helpful and responsive.
