Sarajevo city is a vibrant tapestry of history, culture, and resilience. Its charming old town, welcoming locals, and diverse cuisine make it a must-visit destination. The blend of Eastern and Western influences creates a unique atmosphere that captivates visitors, leaving them with unforgettable memories. Mostar is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Bosnia and Herzegovina, renowned for its iconic Stari Most bridge that elegantly spans the Neretva River. The city's cobblestone streets, Ottoman architecture, and warm hospitality make it a picturesque and culturally rich destination. Exploring Mostar is like stepping back in time, where history comes alive at every turn, offering visitors a truly enchanting experience.

Sarajevo was very friendly and felt safe and comfortable.

Sarajevo was very friendly and felt safe and comfortable. There is a great cafe culture so you can sit with a coffee or beer and watch the world go by. It is culturally diverse and feels welcoming, all the more extraordinary considering the fairly recent history of war and the siege. There are walking tours which are worth going on- ours was great, with a local, knowledgeable guide. It’s worth going up on the cable car and having a wander around the mountain tracks- all well signposted. We can’t wait to go back!

    A really interesting city.

A really interesting city. The people are warm and friendly, ready to welcome and assist visitors. Many speak a variety of languages. English is commonly used, menus are often in English as well as Bosnian. The food is tasty and there are a variety of cuisines to choose. The city is walkable, there are many tours available. We chose a free Walking tour and the Fall of Yugoslavia tour. Both to our guides were very knowledgeable and passionate about their city. They were open to questions and enjoyed sharing their opinions. The cable car allows the visitor to get a Birds Eye view of its size. The Old Town is great for traditional meals. Good coffee is available everywhere. I liked the fact that East and West meet, it gives hope. It was an experience that will remain with me for a while.

Such an interesting city, with an even greater sense of East meets West than Istanbul. It's small, so easy to get around, and the river is helpful for orientation. Two must-see destinations that are often missed are the Jewish Museum and the Sarajevo Haggadah held in the National Museum. Would recommend a 'free' walking tour - we used Neno & Friends, and Merima was really excellent. But be prepared: still very much a cash-based economy, and BAMs not available outside Bosnia. Also, maybe it was just the season (early May), but restaurants are often fully booked - worth booking a day or two in advance. The 2-hour Talgo train down to Mostar is a great side trip for a day or two.

    Great destination.

Great destination. Downtown offers you everything you want: very tasty food, interesting museums and touristic objectives to visit, sweets and aromas, nice streets, kind peoples... I felt like in an oriental city - then walking along the river was great too, as bridges and buildings being also modern and having a futuristic approach. Old and new, history and future in a great cohabitation.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. It’s situated in a quiet location, away from the main streets, which I appreciated. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Although I only stayed for three nights, I would have gladly extended my stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Also, a special thanks to the male worker for recommending the Bosnian language course. I’ve already signed up, and the course starts next week! :)

A very beautiful house with all services available in addition to the beautiful view. The location of the house is also suitable for tourists, as it is close to the market and all the shops that a tourist may need. The house is clean and has a parking lot. There is also a wonderful balcony. The bedrooms are comfortable and the living room is beautiful, too. The kitchen is excellent and has all the supplies for cooking. The hotel is near Sarajevo City Center, very safe to walk in and out anytime of the day. The view is very nice from the room. We’ve had one of the best breakfast and the lady chef cooks the perfect eggs each and every time. Harun from Cafe Swiss was very nice and polite. Also when we checked out, Bakir assisted us and was very nice and accommodating. They clean our room everyday and we had the best stay in Sarajevo. We will surely stay on this hotel next time we come back to Bosnia.

I think the staff was phenomenal and friendly. Willing to go out of their way to help. The breakfast was good. For Americans and Canadians: the coffee is different in Bosnia and is strong. You don't want or need a full mug of coffee. The location was amazing. 2 minutes from Baščaršija. Coffee shops, stores and convenience are literally 5 minutes by foot. There is parking but I recommend going car-free to this hotel. Everything is so close already.

The location of this hotel is so central however the street itself is not too noisy/busy at night. It was a short walk downhill to the main square (a bit steep coming back up but it's a short walk). There is also shops/food places on the door step. They have reserved on street parking across the road, spaces are limited so book in advance. The host was friendly & accomadating. I would book this place again if I were to return to Sarajevo.

It was great staying here and the owners were very kind. I ended up booking this place last minute when the other place I booked very closeby turned out to be unacceptable to stay. The owners got the place ready for me in less than 10 minutes and very attentive. The flat was super clean and easy walk away from everything. They even kept my bags for as long as I needed to and made suggestions. Highly recommended!
