Location was great as it was quiet, but old town was still within walking distance. The free parking was easy. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious (though you had to ask if you wanted things like yogurt or fruit so we didn't get any of that as we didn't know). It was fairly clean and the beds were comfortable.

Super cozy town to wander through. Nice little shops with handmade products, many restaurants and café with cheap food and drink.
Just avoid the cafee under the bridge called Eko co. Worst service and bad coffee - not autenthic Bosnian. Super expensive.

Mostar is a captivating city that embodies a unique blend of historical gravitas and scenic charm, making it a must-visit destination in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Nestled along the picturesque Neretva River, the city is famed for its iconic Stari Most (Old Bridge), a stunning example of Islamic architecture in the Balkans and a UNESCO World Heritage site. This historic bridge, beautifully reconstructed after the war, provides a symbolic connection between the city's diverse cultural and religious communities.
Visitors can explore the cobbled streets of the Old Bazaar, where traditional craft shops and quaint cafes offer a taste of local life and hospitality. The Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque is another highlight, offering panoramic views of the city from its minaret. Also FORTICA is the best place to see Mostar from the hill, highly recommend take taxi 1km per Kilometre… ask driver for pick up later or walk down.
Mostar also serves as a gateway to explore the region's natural beauty. Nearby attractions include the emerald waters of the Kravica Waterfall and the serene Blagaj Tekija, a Dervish monastery nestled against a cliff beside the Buna River, which is perfect for a peaceful afternoon outing and Pocitelj ahistorical place!
With its rich history, stunning architecture, and warm, welcoming atmosphere, Mostar is truly a jewel worth exploring. Each corner of the city offers new delights and a chance to step back in time while enjoying the vibrant local culture.
Best place to eat and value for money:
- Cernica chevabdzinca, (a hidden gem) mix grill platter 40km in Cernica street, also Rodjeni Pie shop.
- Best Pizza (cappricioza my fav) in Nidze Veze in Boulevar opposite the Catholic church.
- Asdzinica Saraj by the Karadzozbeg Mosque, best to eat early between 10-12am, best traditional food reasonable prices
Malta - outside Mostar on the way to Blagaj fabulous food reasonable priced

Even in spring, the famous bridge attracts an awful lot of tourists in the day and early evening, so do bear this in mind and be patient. However it is definitely worth seeing (best from the river) and if the weather is good do wait for the locals jumping off the bridge - this takes place about every 30-minutes. If you're on the bridge the divers may ask if can make a contribution. don't overlook the rest of the town and you can still see traces of the civil war if you walk further out. Sadly, someone removed the Bruce Lee statue, only the pedestal remains. Highly recommend train journey between Mostar and Sarajevo.

This is a great small town with lots of things to do, whether it is exploring the old town or hiking on of the several hills nearby. The food is amazing and affordable. And one of the hills, Fortica, has a great observation deck and a zipline. But keep in mind, that lots of places are closed on Sundays.

24 hours is about right if you get there in the morning. This way, you can see the Old Town in the morning, sunset and after dark. Most tourists left by late afternoon, so it was nice to walk around with less of a crowd.
Apartment Nedo is well above and beyond our expectation. Elo and his wife are very responsive and welcoming. The apartment is equipped with snacks, juice, and amenities such as soap, shampoo, and towels. Elo is also very friendly. Our car was parked inside the secure garage. The apartment is close to old town. Elo recommended several authentic Bosnian restaurant and it was very good food there. Definitely we will stay there if we are coming to Mostar again!
The hotel is strategically located in Mostar, only few steps away to the old bridge.
The suite was very spacious, clean and fresh. The beds were comfortable.
The bathroom was clean and had a water heater in the bathroom. The room came with an air conditioner. We liked that the smart tv can had Netflix.
The balcony was spacious good for two person.
The owner was very welcoming, hospitable and ensured that we had a comfortable stay at Shangri La Mansion.
Everything! We have been traveling for week between Croatia and Bosnia. This hotel was the best stay in our experience. The staff was incredible, and talking about staff I have to talk about one staff member in particular ( I hope I am writing it correctly' Azamina. Sge was extremely kind and delightful.
the room it self was very clean.
Azamina and the city of Mostar have made us think about a full holiday in Bosnia.
We had an amazing stay at Hotel-Restaurant Krive Ćuprija. The staff treated us like royalty, helping with luggage, taking time to personally recommend places to visit, feeding us like kings! We have never been treated better at another hotel. In addition, the facilities were spotless, the menu delicious, and the location very convenient to the bazaar and bridges of Mostar.... Absolutly fantastic!
Perfect location to visit Mostar on foot. Park your car and explore on foot the beautiful reborn town of Mostar after it was totally destroyed by the Yugoslavian wars. It brings hope that current countries being attacked and destroyed will be reborn as beautiful if not more beautiful than they were. Recommend to visit the Museum of Genocide, just a couple minutes away from the hotel.
The location of the hotel is the best you can probably find in the whole town. The staff of the hotel are very , very friendly!!! They are very helpful with any information, requirement or anything you may need. The rooms have everything I need and the view of the terrace is amazing!!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place if you want to dig into the culture of Mostar!!!
What a wonderful stay we had in this guesthouse! This was our first stop in Bosnia and Mostar was a big highlight of our trip, in part thanks to this place and the wonderful host we had. As she didn't speak English we were able to communicate just well in German! She even made us some very good cookies. The place was clean and welcoming, we felt right at home.
The owner is Bosnian- Australian, a,really great bloke. :).He is very accommodating and he and the staff are very helpful. The room price is very fair and really helps travellers keep to a budget. Plus they have parking and a great breakfast.
The motel is only a 10 minute drive from to the famous Mostar old town and bridge where you will find parking.
Super hotel. I've stayed in Mostar many times and this is easily the best place I've stayed. Brought my mum here to experience Mostar and she loved the hotel. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the Bosnian meze breakfast is exceptional. Location is perfect, room was very good, hotel is cosy, and price is very good. Thanks for a fantastic stay!
Stayed 3 days and had a great time! All people lovely, helpful and I felt just like at home right after check-in. Mostar is a beautiful place that deserves more than just a quick look at the bridge. As the hotel location is very central I recommend to visit old town and bridge in early morning or in the evening to avoid day-trip-tourist-crowds.
It was in perfect location. The staff was really nice. Also the bed was perfect, very hard and large. Air conditioner in the room was working great. It was located at the other side of the room so it was not disturbing when you were at sleep. Compared to the othet hotels in Bosnia - with that money, you can't go any better.
This hotel is all about location, and that location is most important (and this one is spectacular). At 5+ is the view from the terrace, right on the Old Bridge in Mostar. You won't meet friendlier hosts in Bosnia than these, the place is also unique and premium - highly recommended.
Location in Mostar was fantastic. Easy to find and in town centre. Hotel had parking.
Host was really welcoming and had great local knowledge.
Couldn't ask any more for our short stay.
Perfect location to take in the old town.
Excellent location in Old Town Mostar, able to walk everywhere.
We were greeted by the Proprietor who was most helpful throughout our stay. He took time to help us resolve a problem with our Bosnian cellphone SIM.
I love Nina and her family!! They are the sweetest family and really welcomed me to Mostar. My whole experience was wholesome and incredible. I can’t wait for my next trip to Bosnia, I will be staying here again!
Very conveniently located, within a short walking distance to the famous Mostar Bridge. Very clean and spacious room we stayed in and enjoyed. A nice boutique hotel...
