The restaurant is excellent. Good idea is to upgrade to the breakfast package. Dinners have a different theme every night to keep it interesting. Great option for Jake’s across the street as well.

The room was large, clean and comfortable. The location was excellent -next door to a mini mart, ATM, Burger King and KFC. The beach was a short walk as were many other dining options. The pool on the property was clean and well maintained. The grounds were nice -trees, plants and some shade. The balcony we had overlooked the pool. This was our favorite place to stay in Barbados. Would definitely recommend.

Bridgetown, Barbados. Its excellent reputation did not disappoint. The renowned Bajan, (Barbadian) hospitality was always displayed when inquiring about unfamiliar subjects. Bajans seem eager to help with directions to places of interest, restaurants, or knowing the history of Barbados. Some of my favourite places I visited included the Animal Flower Cave, The Barbados Museum and Sam Lord's Castle. Beaches include Carlisle's Beach, Pebbles Beach and Haywood Beach in Speightstown. Oistin's Fish Market and other places such as restaurants that serve local dishes, must be on your list of places to eat. Do not be afraid to take local public transportation; the authorized fare is $3.50 (bds) irrespective of distance. While on the beach, avoid the poisonous manchineel trees. They are painted in red around their trunks to point out the danger.

Lanterns mall was decent with a variety of stores but most were closed. I had delivered from seven oh 11, not very good, food was extremely spicy. I would reccommend maybe staying in a different location from worthing, Christ Church.

We were really disappointed to see that the Waterfront was all boarded up and were informed that there was a regeneration plan for this area. We hope that it will be done for when we return.
It gets very hot in town so a quick dash to shops and then back to the beach. Could do with some more fun shops and not just duty free stores.
Also some nice restaurants would be beneficial.

Ate in a gorgeous beachfront restaurant about 10 min walk from resort.
Easy to get around on foot. Town centre is very small. Not much to see historically. Parliament building wasn't sign posted.
Beaches were nice.

Good hotel charging a reasonable price.
Good hotel charging a reasonable price. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Good location. Short walk from many amenities. The room had everything required. It was sizeable and very comfortable. It was a shame the restaurant and bar were closed for refurbishment.

I am not sure if we got the same room we booked.
I am not sure if we got the same room we booked. There were rooms with balcony but we were given one without a balcony. My husband said he visited there before and it was a much better place. We were told that the place had new owners, so that could be the difference. We did enjoy having breakfast close to the beach which was the highlight of our visit. The water at the beach was a little rough during our stay, but it was a pretty site to watch the boats go out on the water. It was easy to get around. I did go to the market place where I purchased some fruits, bread and souvenirs, but I don't think we would return there anytime soon.
I would highly recommend this hotel as an excellent choice for transit travelers seeking beachfront accommodations. The hotel boasts a stunningly beautiful beach and spacious rooms that are both simple in design and impeccably clean. Additionally, its prime location across from several restaurants, a pharmacy, and a wine store adds to its appeal. The staff at this hotel is known for their exceptional friendliness and hospitality. Lastly, the hotel's beach offers a magnificent setting to witness breathtaking sunsets.
The beach is one of the best! In the morning, you can see the racehorses taking a swim, and the grooms let you ride them a little. We've got the seaside view room, which, we were told, had been renovated more recently. The furniture, the power jacks, etc were dated, but well-maintained. You can walk around the beach nearby, and get a taxi to go explore Bridgetown, which is around 30-40 BBD. The reception has the power adaptors for free for those coming from Europe, but you need to leave a deposit.
The apt was top notch - well kitted out. The best thing about this location is the proximity to Worthing beach in fact its on private part of Worthing beach. It was a short bus ride to Oistins for food and indeed there is an AMAZING food court behind the Esso station. The supermarket was fascinating. It was an equally short bus trip to Bridgetown and its on the bus route too and from the Airport.
If you like a good time the Devahachan Bar does great nightlive, including Kareoke
Beautiful property, our Carriage House room was generous and comfortable, tastefully decorated (there was a kitchen, but it wasn’t well equipped, if we’d wanted to make meals). The grounds were very nice and the overlook to the Caribbean offered wonderful views. We had a rental car and the location was convenient to the airport, to Bridgetown and the cruise terminal and easy enough to roads leading to other sights on the island. The staff were lovely, very friendly and attentive.
No breakfast was available. The location is across from Acra Beach which is ideal, however, the property is a disaster as is the management. Signage was poor even though the property is next door to the Blue Horizon Hotel. Several Taxi drivers could not locate the apartments.
The old plantation house was as quiet sanctuary in Bridgetown, with views of the sea from the pool & garden area. The staff were very friendly and really helped to make the stay very pleasant. we had the queen room which was stunning, everything about this hotel was great.
The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff were excellent. A special thanks to Chef Toni Simpson who cooked to perfection some Wahoo and Tuna fish that we had caught on a fishing trip that morning. This was the best tasting fish we have ever eaten!
Great beach on the South western side
Beautiful little bay with the hotel in the beach, excellent food and after 8 nights was always good , loved the gym , all interiors are in good condition outside needs a spruce up
This is one of the best beach located hotels we are aware of. The beach was simply awesome and easy to swim. At night the pounding waves soothingly but you to sleep despite the noise you might hear from the street.
the spot was amazing and loved that you could get chairs on beach for free and fresh towels. the staff was great. loved the pool area. Liked that since we were Hilton honors that we got breakfast cheaper
The hotel's employees are trying their best to excuse the owner who is a terrible unprofessional individual who should be kept away from dealing with the customers whom he despises.
The location and the cleanliness. Carlisle beach is fantastic. A short walk into Bridgetown and many of the best restaurants on the west coast are a short taxi ride away
It’s a pretty hotel on the beachfront and close to restaurants and many beaches. The hospitality room is a great service for travelers like us with a late night flight.
Restaurant staff were great and the was exceptional. Note this hotel is part of a training program for staff in the hotel service industry, including chefs.
we were unable to actually stay at Palm Gardens, because there were flooding issues, so we were redirected to a different hotel, which was very comfortable
