Sugar Bay Barbados has a year-round outdoor pool and spa center, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. George Washington Museum is 10 minutes’ walk away. This resort is located on a beautiful white-sand beach. The beach has plentiful loungers, hammocks, comfy cabanas, water sports and snorkeling. The water sports crew is quick to set up umbrellas to shade you when the sun gets too hot. They were really great! The protected swimming area is pretty nice for snorkeling, although it's sort of small. The resort has a nice pool, it's a bit small and shallow, but has a swim-up bar. It was never crowded. The rooms are small but comfortable and well-appointed. We had a nice view of the beach from our balconies. There is nightly entertainment, mostly of the karaoke singer kind. There were also dancers, circus-type acts and steel drum music - fantastic! This was our first all-inclusive experience and we didn't know how it all worked. The food was excellent, exceeding our expectations in every way. The regular buffet always had hot fresh entrees, fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, fresh breads, fresh pastries and desserts. It had a lot of variety, including local dishes (which we were worried we'd miss by staying at an all-inclusive). Breakfast had the most repetition, but Andrea was there preparing eggs any way you wanted and different breakfast breads every day. We were lucky to catch wahoo on our fishing expedition and Paul, the chef, cooked up the fish especially for us. It was the best fish I've ever tasted! The bar had high-end alcohols that are included, a pleasant surprise. We had smoothies, coladas, daiquiris, sours, margaritas, Prosecco and juices. All the drinks were really good. Umi, the Asian fusion restaurant had good appetizers, but the entrees were so-so. The entertainment that night was so loud we couldn't hear each other at that dinner. Sizzle, the steakhouse, was excellent and felt like getting away for a night, even though you're still on the property.

Hotel PomMarine has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Bridgetown. All the staff, from reception, to house keeping and serving staff were great, really friendly and happy to assist in anything we asked. The hotel appeared to be a trainging facility for young persons looking to go into the range of hospitality function. This did not reflect on the level of service provided as there were always qualified support supervisors to assist and guide the trainees.

Excellent location right on a lovely, quiet beach. Very relaxing vacation, staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. I stayed overnight at the blue Horizon Hotel prior to cruising. I was overwhelmed to see so many people at this location going on the same cruise. The property is very clean quiet and the staff is very friendly. There are Restaurants and shops within walking distance.I did not like climbing three flight of stairs with my luggage but I would definitely stayed there again.
The Barbadians are very friendly and welcoming. We felt very safe when walking around even during the night. Great beaches, good music, tasty food. We stayed in Worthing which turned out to be a great location. We enjoyed St Lawrence Gap in the evening - there are some excellent restaurants there and a lovely atmosphere. The Friday Fish Fry at Oistins was great fun and a must visit. I'd recommend at least one trip in a ZR. Great things we did: snorkelling with turtles, George Washington House, Harrison's Cave, The Flower Forest, Welchman Hall Gulley (green monkeys), Hunte's Gardens, St Nicholas Abbey.
A lot of things to do and it was fun. The Catamaran was so much fun. I will do it again. The Cliff Restaurant was marvelous. Very easy to get around watch the taxi drivers some will over charge. For excellent restaurants make reservations ahead of time.
Bridgetown itself is a little shabby but the nearby beaches were lovely. Snorkelling with sea turtles off Carlisle beach was a real highlight. No need to hire a car if you keep to the coast as public transport is very frequent. Overall a really enjoyable stay
Must's while visiting Barbados, do turtle / ship wreck snorkel trip. Also get a local tour guide of the island, its totally worth the length of time. Try all the food stalls some of the best food we ate came from them.
Bridgetown itself is disappointing. But all around the island there are wonderful places to stay. The Hilton and Radisson are closest to Bridgetown on Pebble and Browne's beaches. We prefer Holetown on the West coast, Rockley on the South coast and if you really want to get away from the crowds, try Santosha on the wild East coast (but you will need a car!)
Good kitchen facilities, good aircon, nice size balcony and facing the sea ! breakfast was quite which was nice. omelettes and poached eggs we’re fantastic! nice variety of breakfast but you pay extra for sausages and bacon. supermarkets, souvenir shops and food places literally next door! bus stop almost outside the hotel. staff were lovely, helpful and did a boardwalk, giving information! nice pool. get two sun loungers at the beach but not umbrella and still only two even with three of us in a room!
The hotel was as expected nice and clean, but the staff were beyond my expectations!!! They went above and beyond to ensure I had an amazing birthday trip!! I was treated very special, they set up a private table, decorated with a balloon arch. I was also treated to dinner and a birthday cake along with the birthday song! The staff in every area were just the best!!!
I love it the staff is friendly and helpful I send two peoples there already in June and August and I am coming back in December and my friend coming in December too and she coming there too I tell her about the hotel thanks you for help me good service

it would be hard not to like this hotel it’s external and internal spaces are lovely apartments are huge. position convenient. bathroom could do with upgrade but it’s still more than adequate. delightful veranda and view. staff were lovely and food good
The hotel has an excellent location on Worthing beach. The sea view from the rooms is priceless. As well the hotel’s walking distance to stores, restaurants, night life, bus routes and all the other necessary amenities is a bonus.

We arrived on our anniversary, and the staff helped to accommodate a lovely surprise from my husband . The hotel is situated near a surf beach but also a short walk to Carlisle Bay for snorkelling and paddleboarding
Very nice hotel with a great location. The beach is just down the road and there are frequent buses if you need to go anywhere else. The people are very friendly and helpful.
So many things we liked about this hotel, the main ones was the view we had was stunning. the room was large with a super big comfortable bed.
Nice environment, nice hotel, all inclusive, we found solution to our requests
