Our room was cleaned everyday. It was spotless. Loved the balcony and view. We didn't have a kitchen, but the small refrigerator with the small freezer, was extremely helpful, as we made our breakfast and lunch on some of the days we were exploring the island. The resort was located in the Gap but seemed removed from being too noisy or crazy. It was a very convenient location for our first visit to Barbados. We rented a car, and it was nice having the very secure place to park the car. We enjoyed the delicious food at the dinner buffets and entertainment. We enjoyed the opportunity to meet some of the other guests at the Rum Punch Parties.
Facing the beachfront, Bougainvillea Barbados offers 4-star accommodations in Christ Church and features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center and garden.

Our room was adjacent to the pool. very lovely. this facility has no elevator, so we requested a first-floor room. The beach and pool area are truly beautiful, relaxing, and met all expectations. The baby pool and kids pool meant we could take advantage of the pool whenever we wanted.

The location in the gap. Options of nightlife, multiple beaches, restaurants and shopping in walking distance
The room was spacious and comfortable. Having a kitchen saved us money. Having laundry facility equipped with supplies for purchase a plus.
Our breakfast was included and we were given choices and full sit down service. The chefs on staff are very good.
The staff maintained the property well and were all very polite and friendly.

The breakfast was good and the coffee was good. I would loved to have seen more baked products like croissants.
The dining highlight for us was the outstanding food and service at ORA.
Located right on the beach, this hotel is bordered by the Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary on the south coast of Barbados. Cocktails are served throughout the day beside the freshwater swimming pool.

It was really easy to explore the island on public transport from Oistins.
The local beaches were amazing; clean , white sand and turquoise waters. Local people were friendly and helpful.
We stayed over Easter, so lots of things happening during the fish festival at Oistins.
There is little choice on restaurants, outside of the the stalls at the fish fry, so ventured further afield.
All in all, a beautiful island with plenty to see and do, as well as just chilling on the beach.

It's easy to get anywhere on the island from Christ Church as the main bus stand is located close to the Police station, Post office, shops & the local fish fry market.
Places to avoid: Marco Polo Restaurant/Bar - Poor service and food.

Everything was exceptionally great especially the host.
Everything was exceptionally great especially the host. The apartment made you felt like you were at home but more relaxed, clean and beautiful. We made our own breakfast and at night we ate in Oistins at the food stalls, We visited the Miami Beach and enjoyed a good bath and meeting other visitors. We had our own transportation but we noticed that transportation was very good. We promised to visit again.

Christ Church is an amazing place to stay.
Christ Church is an amazing place to stay. There are plenty of beaches and places to eat. Getting around is easy, and I used the local buses, which is not for everyone, but the locals do not bat an eye lid to tourists and are only too pleased to help you if required. I would recommend this location to stay or visit.
Rating this place a 10 because of the staff ! we had a few issues with our room ( our bed broke and wasn’t able to fix that day because of the Easter holiday) so we had to put the mattress on the floor for a night but they handled it extremely well and offered a refund for 1 night. I’m sure you won’t have this issue as they were fixing it the day we left. The hotel itself was awesome in a great location walking distance to 2 beaches and affordable restaurants!
New, very tastefull decorated, extremely clean and walking distance to Dover Beach. The kitchen is well equipped. We were very thankful that they let us stay until 12:30 (instead until 11:00) in the room, which fitted excellent in our travel schedule. The area in the vicinity is not so pretty, the beautiful beach is framed with many hotels, but on the other hand there are umbrellas and sunbeds and also many restaurants.
My stay at the Butterfly Beach Hotel was a very enjoyable one. Easy access to Oistins and St Lawrence Gap. The staff was very pleasant and helpful especially Debra from the gift shop. The room was clean and we received room service every day of our stay which was a very wonderful surprise. The room was comfortable, just what we needed for our time in Barbados. I would definitely stay at the Butterfly Beach Hotel again.
Staff is super friendly, especially at the bar/restaurant, large rooms/flats with sea view, right at the heart of a village with several pubs, restaurants, and small markets. Other beaches can be calmer but usually there is nothing around the beaches except the hotel or beach bars, so this location was perfect for us. If we would go back to Barbados we would definitely stay at Rostrevor again.
The location is brilliant get your lounger in the morning the enjoy the most beautiful day and view.
Perfect for families with young kids, couples or people looking for a stay in paradise.
Food van outside at 12.30 on week days is wicked if you find the hotel a bit steep.
Loads of nice restaurants around the location,
Staying in the standard room at Sunbay Hotel Barbados was a wonderful experience. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the necessary amenities. The bed was comfortable, and the decor was charming. We enjoyed beautiful views from our window. Overall, a great value for the price.
The location is excellent - right on a beautiful beach. I think the only reason to visit Barbados is for the beaches so my advice is book a place like this hotel and just stay right there. There are quite a few restaurants on the street within easy walking distance.
The hotel is in a great location in St Lawrence Gap. The facilities are well maintained. Room cleaning is efficient and effective. There is a nice pool and a limited beach area. The open air restaurant has a breakfast and lunch menu and the food is good.
Earl was brilliant, really helped us out in a difficult situation. My brother had been taken to hospital in Barbados. We could only stay one night as the apartment was fully booked. Earl made arrangements with another hotel, which was so kind of him.
Super location, with loads of restaurants located on its doorstep. The staff were very accommodating by giving us a fan when the aircon wasn't doing enough with the heat! The servers in the hotel's restaurant area were all very nice and helpful.
Lovely hotel, very nice, huge room with full kitchen and amazing view to pool and sea. a lot of restaurants just next door. staff is very caring, service oriented and flexible. you can reach the nice beaches in a 5 minutes walk.
Infinity on the beach was a great value hotel for our stay in Barbados! It had all of the amenities you needed for being right on the beach, and an amazing happy hour, and a good breakfast.
The location is brilliant, the reception staff great, not so much the bar staff or cleaners.
The hotel needs an upgrade, but quite cheap and clean.
Overall good
The hotel is OK. Not more, not less. It was a last moment booking situation, so it's fine for this instance. It's clean, has some live music in the evenings.
Nice and supportive staff, lovely restaurant and bar at the hotel with a beautiful view over the ocean, beach 5 minutes walk away, many restaurants close by
The hotel is close to town and is situated in a cute, vibrant area. A great array of restaurants and nightlife. It is definitely a great place to stay!
