The restaurant is excellent. Good idea is to upgrade to the breakfast package. Dinners have a different theme every night to keep it interesting. Great option for Jake’s across the street as well.

The location and access to the beach are fantastic. The restaurant is quite adequate, with the feel of homemade cuisine.

The room was large, clean and comfortable. The location was excellent -next door to a mini mart, ATM, Burger King and KFC. The beach was a short walk as were many other dining options. The pool on the property was clean and well maintained. The grounds were nice -trees, plants and some shade. The balcony we had overlooked the pool. This was our favorite place to stay in Barbados. Would definitely recommend.

Bridgetown, Barbados. Its excellent reputation did not disappoint. The renowned Bajan, (Barbadian) hospitality was always displayed when inquiring about unfamiliar subjects. Bajans seem eager to help with directions to places of interest, restaurants, or knowing the history of Barbados. Some of my favourite places I visited included the Animal Flower Cave, The Barbados Museum and Sam Lord's Castle. Beaches include Carlisle's Beach, Pebbles Beach and Haywood Beach in Speightstown. Oistin's Fish Market and other places such as restaurants that serve local dishes, must be on your list of places to eat. Do not be afraid to take local public transportation; the authorized fare is $3.50 (bds) irrespective of distance. While on the beach, avoid the poisonous manchineel trees. They are painted in red around their trunks to point out the danger.

Lanterns mall was decent with a variety of stores but most were closed. I had delivered from seven oh 11, not very good, food was extremely spicy. I would reccommend maybe staying in a different location from worthing, Christ Church.

We were really disappointed to see that the Waterfront was all boarded up and were informed that there was a regeneration plan for this area. We hope that it will be done for when we return.
It gets very hot in town so a quick dash to shops and then back to the beach. Could do with some more fun shops and not just duty free stores.
Also some nice restaurants would be beneficial.

Ate in a gorgeous beachfront restaurant about 10 min walk from resort.
Easy to get around on foot. Town centre is very small. Not much to see historically. Parliament building wasn't sign posted.
Beaches were nice.

Good hotel charging a reasonable price.
Good hotel charging a reasonable price. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Good location. Short walk from many amenities. The room had everything required. It was sizeable and very comfortable. It was a shame the restaurant and bar were closed for refurbishment.

I am not sure if we got the same room we booked.
I am not sure if we got the same room we booked. There were rooms with balcony but we were given one without a balcony. My husband said he visited there before and it was a much better place. We were told that the place had new owners, so that could be the difference. We did enjoy having breakfast close to the beach which was the highlight of our visit. The water at the beach was a little rough during our stay, but it was a pretty site to watch the boats go out on the water. It was easy to get around. I did go to the market place where I purchased some fruits, bread and souvenirs, but I don't think we would return there anytime soon.
I would highly recommend this hotel as an excellent choice for transit travelers seeking beachfront accommodations. The hotel boasts a stunningly beautiful beach and spacious rooms that are both simple in design and impeccably clean. Additionally, its prime location across from several restaurants, a pharmacy, and a wine store adds to its appeal. The staff at this hotel is known for their exceptional friendliness and hospitality. Lastly, the hotel's beach offers a magnificent setting to witness breathtaking sunsets.
The host Robert and his mum are exceptionally obliging, helpful and friendly. The location is fantastic, short (10 minute) walk to lovely beaches, boardwalk and restaurants. Half an hour walk to Browns and Pebbles beach , < 10 mins to bus stop connecting to nearby Oistins, buses are cheap and regular. Oistins is lovely, real Caribbean vibes and there are turtles by the pier. For food I'd recommend the Jamaican restaurant on the boardwalk , Salt Cafe & Artsplash Cafe..all a few minutes walk from the property.
My 2nd stay. Perfect location for the beach(2 mins) and close by to shops, bars, food market and Hastings. Staff are always super friendly and welcoming. I like the fact this place isn't pretentious, it's retained it's Caribbean charm and stayed in the era it was built in which I found charming. It's by no means luxury but it's as I'd expected and wasn't dissapointed. Try the Island tribe food wagon outside, the best flying fish cutter I've had in 3 months of travelling the Caribbean!
The hotel itself is lovely the rooms are really spacious. The location is not the best in terms of wanting to go out on the nights as it’s around 6 miles from the main strip / bars / restaurants! There is however a tiki bus if you walk around half a mile to the main road which will take you to the livelier spots for around 4 dollers. Taxis were around 30 us dollers for the same route. The beach at the hotel was lovely and the beach out the front of the hotel was exceptional !
Relaxing, informal, friendly - this place is fantastic. I’m sure you will find more impressive looking hotels and yes this place looks a little tired in certain areas, but you won’t find the vibe you get here. The staff are all lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. The beach and swimming areas are easily accessible and well kept. Unlike other Caribbean all inclusives the food is really good. And - most importantly - the beer is good!
The beach location was lovely ,calm with trees for shade and a good beach bar. The room was very big and extremely comfortable bed (I have a back problem and this was the best hotel bed I have had ). we had a room only basis however we did eat in the bar and restaurant and the meals were very good. Only problem for us was our room was on the top floor so the stairs were a problem for us . we hope to return .
This hotel is ideal for cruise ship passengers as it is fairly close to the cruise port.Situated on a beautiful beach in Bridgetown.Dinner in the restaurant was very good as was the service.Room was well equipped and bed very comfortable and clean. Beach towels and sun beds provided free of charge. We would definitely return to this property. All staff very helpful.
Great location right on the beach with great sea views. 10 minutes drive from airport and 10 minutes from Bridgetown. Grocery stores 3 minutes walk way with bars and restaurants right on doorstep. St Lawrence gap (the strip) is only a 5 minutes walk along the main road. Great sized rooms, cleaned daily with beach towels included.
The location was close to everything I would possibly need. Being on the bus route made it cheaper to get around .
The staff were amazing and quite helpful and informative whenever I wanted information, directions etc.
Room was comfortable. I won't mind staying there again if I'm ever in Barbados
The old plantation house was as quiet sanctuary in Bridgetown, with views of the sea from the pool & garden area. The staff were very friendly and really helped to make the stay very pleasant. we had the queen room which was stunning, everything about this hotel was great.
Breakfast was fine and adequate. Staff were charming. There was a variety for breakfasts every day. The location was fine not too far from Bridgetown. A taxi or the local bus was easy to access. It was also relatively easy to get a bus back to the hotel.
Very close to very nice beach. Cheap for Barbados standards, little old but ok if you are fine with modesty. Super close to stores, restaurants, bars. Can be noisy because it is close to Main Street. WiFi was great so the staff
Room was large, comfortable, very clean with good air conditioning. Hotel is well located although walking to most good restaurants is dangerous at night as there are no good sidewalks. Beautiful views!
We did not stay at this hotel. There are 8 hotels in the same collective. This one was full even though I had a confirmed reservation. They moved me to another hotel which I'm sure was as good.
Lovely hotel, beautiful beach, excellent modern room, right on the beach, convenient location with bus stop & covid testing center right across the street, good value. I'll be back
The hotel is directly by sea, only one gate away from the beach! In the nearest area of the hotel are restaurants, bars, supermarket and bus stops. The staff is very friendly.
The staff. I was in a bind had to leave another hotel quickly because of a horrible woman. These guys had me in my room an hour after making reservations. Professional staff.
