Our room was adjacent to the pool. very lovely. this facility has no elevator, so we requested a first-floor room. The beach and pool area are truly beautiful, relaxing, and met all expectations. The baby pool and kids pool meant we could take advantage of the pool whenever we wanted.

The breakfast was good and the coffee was good. I would loved to have seen more baked products like croissants.

It was really easy to explore the island on public transport from Oistins.
The local beaches were amazing; clean , white sand and turquoise waters. Local people were friendly and helpful.
We stayed over Easter, so lots of things happening during the fish festival at Oistins.
There is little choice on restaurants, outside of the the stalls at the fish fry, so ventured further afield.
All in all, a beautiful island with plenty to see and do, as well as just chilling on the beach.

Christ Church is the place to stay on the South coast.
Christ Church is the place to stay on the South coast. Favourite places: Irie foods on St.Lawrence Gap, Cafe Luna restaurant, Enterprise Beach, Surfers cafe - Oistins (beach view table), Enterprise Beach.
It's easy to get anywhere on the island from Christ Church as the main bus stand is located close to the Police station, Post office, shops & the local fish fry market.
Places to avoid: Marco Polo Restaurant/Bar - Poor service and food.

Everything was exceptionally great especially the host.
Everything was exceptionally great especially the host. The apartment made you felt like you were at home but more relaxed, clean and beautiful. We made our own breakfast and at night we ate in Oistins at the food stalls, We visited the Miami Beach and enjoyed a good bath and meeting other visitors. We had our own transportation but we noticed that transportation was very good. We promised to visit again.

Christ Church is an amazing place to stay.
Christ Church is an amazing place to stay. There are plenty of beaches and places to eat. Getting around is easy, and I used the local buses, which is not for everyone, but the locals do not bat an eye lid to tourists and are only too pleased to help you if required. I would recommend this location to stay or visit.
The hotel is right on the water. We arrived the night before our cruise. We we are family of six, all adults. It was great to sit on the deck. Listen to the waves enjoy the view and have a few beer. in the morning we had breakfast went for a nice walk on the beach and then headed to the cruise terminal. The rooms were really cute, though some may say outdated. We were in the pink building second floor, which is classed as garden view, but we could see the ocean through an empty lot.
I have been going to Barbados for years and always stay at larger hotels in the Gap and elsewhere on the island. This was the first time I've stayed at the Rio Guesthouses and I was truly happy with the accommodations. Both Paula and Dennis were extremely helpful and kind. The premises are spotless and quiet. I highly recommend staying at this establishment for it's location to the beach, stores and restaurants. I plan to stay again at the Rio in June, 2024. Enjoy!
We stayed in apartment 1 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spacious, very clean, with everything we needed. It had a large balcony and we loved having monkeys as an occasional visitor. It was about a 5 minute walk to the Gap where there were numerous bars and restaurants. Iris was a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and would highly recommend.
I liked that the property was clean and mostly well maintained. It is in a great location in the Gap with in walking distance to many restaurants and bars. I felt safe with security and staff on the property at all times.
This hotel probably has one of the best views in the Gap of the Ocean and Sunset.
The cleaning staff were very friendly and did a great job everyday with the room.
Thank you Anita
Location was great: easy to go to other points of the island and the street is full of restaurants (although we only went to the food truck and the amazing Rum Shop just in front of the hotel).
The room was big and confortable, and having a kitchen was a plus.
Our room was on the ground floor, with view to the pool, which means we avoided the noise from the street completely.
Amazing sunset view.
Very nice apartment, well appointed and clean. We had a two bedroom sea view condos, on level 3. The sea breeze on the balcony at night was wonderful as it was very hot in Barbados. The condos had good air-conditioning. It is close to restaurants and in an excellent location right on the beach. Cyrus was an excellent host, very helpful and attentive to our needs. I highly recommend White Sands.
Fabulous apartment, a home from home .A great host who kept in touch advising on things to do on a few rainy days !. Facilities and cleanliness were great !. Two bathrooms were perfect with a teenage boy ! . Location is great at the quiet end of the gap, but many great bars and restaurants within a 10 min walk. Great pool area ! . Big thanks to Cherylle and Liz for making us so welcome 🙏.

The cleanliness of the facility
The Seaview apartments was worth the money.
Little Arches felt like a vacation home away from home. The hotel staff were very friendly and authentic. They knew us by name by the end of our stay. It was very relaxing, quiet, clean and the food/drink experience was DE-licious. Also being a short walk from the festivities in Oistins was fun for Friday nights.
We loved the peaceful, quiet, private area. The apartment was small but plenty of space for the two of us. It was clean and tidy. The hosts were exceptional! Very kind, friendly and capable of making sure things were up to our expectations. Two minute walk to the pool, 5 minute walk to the beaches.
No breakfast taken.Evening meal was lovely and better than most of the restaurants outside the hotel. Location was perfect. Oceanview and plenty of bars and restaurants outside but not too much noise. Deck and pool area stunning. Staff very friendly. Brilliant holiday.
We loved the friendly staff and endless options of restaurants, bars, pools. The bowling alley, pool table and foam party were also great! I also have some complex dietary requirements and the hotel accommodated them with ease.
We prepare our own breakfast n the apartment. The location was fantastic right where we wanted to be near dover beach, bus route, mini market that sold a bit of everything and also the famous St Lawrence Gap.
The hotel is next to a lot of restaurants and walking distance to some beaches ,the hotel staff are always ready to help and very friendly it was an amazing stay would definitely stay here again and again
The hotel is very charming the views of the Allantic amazing, but the best is the staff they are so helpful with everything. The best part is away from the big hotels and crowds definately a oasis.
The hotel is OK. Not more, not less. It was a last moment booking situation, so it's fine for this instance. It's clean, has some live music in the evenings.
