Rochefort is an interesting place, but hard work if you don't have a car.
We found it difficult to understand the bus system ...
The train station is several kilometres away from Rochefort & you need to catch a bus from there to the city. There are a number of bus routes that go to & from Rochefort, and you need to work out which one to catch, where to board it, and where to alight. We had to cross reference information on the bus stops with data on the bus company website and ask the tourist information centre before we could be certain. Oh, and it appears you also need the exact fare in cash - the drivers apparently don't do change. And when you leave Rochefort, the bus doesn't actually stop at the train station - thankfully our bus driver let us know when to get off.
On the positive side, lots of wonderful restaurants & cafes, and lots of interesting things to do and see. And great local beers & pastries.

This is an absolutely stunning house with everything you need. Every aspect of the property is perfect and the attention to detail is clear to see.
We had a great stay and the best breakfast of our Belgium trip, delicious!
Vicky and Ian were friendly and welcoming hosts. The relaxed atmosphere and surroundings make it feel like you are staying with friends rather than a B&B.
If I am ever in Rochefort again this is the place I would stay 10/10.
The location was great, close to the Geopark centre and Caves of Lorette, and ideal for walking over to Han sur Lesse, although we found the steep hill coming up from Rochefort a bit daunting when we first arrived (on foot) with heavy packs! The accommodation was spacious and it was nice to be able to eat outside when the weather was fine. We enjoyed the views of the garden birdlife and occasional red squirrel.
The hotel is in a renovated country hunting house. In a beatifull area near the river. A beautiful indoor pool with surounding windows you can see the nature all around.
Room was lovely although small. Bed was large and very comfortable. Toiletary of caudalie excellent. The receptionist was very nice. Took us to the wine cellar ( loveley) he explained us about the history and the wines they have.
The host is very friendly, and super welcoming and helpful. The room and bathroom was very clean and very comfortable bed! The area is very beautiful, in the heart of the Ardennes. The accommodation is a 3 min drive from Rochefort, a beautiful town with nice restaurants and shops. There is also a train station close by. Perfect area for nature lovers too, for example hiking, cycling ect in the area.
Large apartment in a quiet location near Rochefort; friendly manager who lives below the apartment and is always accessible (French only); comfortable bed and pillows; roof window right above the bed for fresh air; WiFi worked great; easy to create a good air flow downstairs with open door/windows; very good kitchen; terrace with furniture; on site parking right in front.
Rochefort was a great location, with a lot of things in walking distance. I stayed in this hotel to visit the Caves of Han, which were closeby as well (less than 15 minute drive). The room was clean and has a nice aesthetic with a lot of space. There was even a fridge to cool drinks in. Good internet. I really had nothing to complain about.
Cozy and charming b&b, very nicely located in Rochefort. Vichy is an awesome host and made us very comfortable. Bed is comfortable, shower and bath very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was remarkable, with dozes of bread options, fresh fruit, eggs and homemade pain purdue. We would definitely come back for another visit!
Very nice owners, taking well care of me and showing me around. They were very very helpful and gentle. Everything was perfectly clean and in order. The environment is great and the apartment would fit a small family. Just a pity I only discovered that they had Rochefort beer available, once I packed the next day :-).
Just a overnight stay, looks a nice hotel we were on a motorbike tour and stayed at Rochfort on way to Ypres, car park is large and secure all be it gravel (only a issue to bikes) hotel has pool and spa facilities which look good but we didn't use,Rochfort isn't too big and restaurants and bars are a easy walk.
Daniel is a great host; the room was wonderful and spacious as well as the bathroom, all was comfortable and clean; breakfast was really good. It's not far from Rochefort's centre, which is reachable by a 10-minutes walk through a nice landscape. Totally recommend
The place is amazing and well located. It is charming and clean! Everything in the hotel is tastefully decorated. It is a quiet and relaxing place close to many restaurants. Really a little jewel to discover!
