Very easy access. If you have large suitcases you might want to take the taxi to&from the airport (45 euros) instead of the train and metro hassle otherwise 5 minutes walk from the metro station Botanique and tram 92 and 94 stop right outside the door -Congres stop-. 2 tram stops away from the Magritte museum, you can even walk there in 15-20 minutes. Free Wi-fi connection in your room. Several more expensive hotels I stayed in -like the Mercure center Louise- had wi-fi only in their lobby which wasn't even air-conditioned and very stuffy-, so this definitely is a plus. No safe box in the room but was freely available at the reception. Good breakfast with a selection of breads, croissants, meat, cheese, fruits, eggs and ham and fruit juice (not freshly squeezed but ok). Hotel staff very very friendly and helpful. Hotel lobby and diningroom and rooms are very small. When I opened my two suitcases in my room there was hardly any room left to walk. I had to jump over my bags. The bed was too soft for me but I didn't have any problems sleeping. Not in the best place in town. Nothing to see outside. Lots of graffiti on the surrounding buildings and noone walking on the streets. Only a couple of places to eat outside and not very appetizing. I suggest you eat and walk around in the market area and just use the hotel to crash. I never had any problems on the streets or in the metro station but I always came to the hotel before the sunset, which is quite late anyway -10:30pm-. I got a discount rate since I booked almost two months early so in spite of all these, if I get a similar price, I would stay there again.

Not worthy of being in the best western Chain nor in the Booking.com list of hotels. Will now be wary of booking best westerns. Hotel located in a graffitti laden area, beds run down ,halls smell of smoke, even in non-smoking floors. What a let down.

Having a breakfast included in the price and being able to park pretty much right outside and not having to pay on sat night anyway. Its not quite as close to the main centre as it says, its a good 15 minute walk.

I like the location, price and breakfast. I did not like to feel the smoke in the room, the size of the room (too small) and the noise from the corridor.

Although not centrally located, one can walk to Gare Central, Cathedral and the old city - Grand Place, etc. in 10 minutes - or use the tram/bus services on Rue Royale. The room was well appointed, bath tub and shower - not sure about the bidet?? - tv and Wi-Fi work fine - Breakfast was excellent, with Continental and English menus - Staff very helpful with tourism tips/ local restaurants, etc. - fluent in French, English, Flemish, etc Some of the surrounding streets are mostly office buildings - some vacant - feels a little bleak at times - also a great deal of building demolition taking place behind the hotel ( 1960 Soviet style buildings - probably used by the eu Bureaucracy) - Rue Royale is cobble stoned so traffic noise as well as the trams can be annoying

leaving in the morning. very disappointed with this 4 star hotel! Not near Grand Place as stated but a good 20 mins walk away. Booked a deluxe room. There was only 1 tea bag, 1 biscuit,2 coffee sachets, 2 milk portions, and 2 sugars. When we asked for some more they were delivered with a bad attitude by a man who had no name when we asked him for it.Bathroom had no bar of soap only shampoo/gel. also 1 bathrobe which was not big enough to share. We asked for a quiet room. this was on the main road with trams running until late. I would not recommend this hotel or stay here again. The reception staff had to be repeatedly called for duty at 0630 and then could not even smile.

breakfast not bad, however, have they never heard of whole wheat or rye breads? (they only had that poisonous white fluffy stuff). but, it must be said they had decent fruit salad (a must), decent quality cold cuts (especially the ham) and cheese platter... hm that's about it - the coffee was mediocre, so was the scrambled eggs and bacon... the bed was horrible/ too soft, the bedding was not the best/ too small, the pillows were useless/ too hard... the bathroom was neither convenient nor attractive, but it must be said it worked just fine. plus, i could not have breakfast on the last morning due to my early flight (had to leave hotel by 5am to catch 7am flight) but i was not compensated at all!

I stay quite often in Brussels and this is now my hotel of choice. Quality good for its star rating and prices generally very very competitive (certainly by Brussels ridiculous standards). I value the free WiFi/breakfast and that the rooms have baths as well as showers. You can also open the windows for fresh air and it's not too noisy. My only minor disatisfaction is that the standard rooms do not have tea-making facilities

We got free upgrade to deluxe room so the room was excellent. Yo've got very quiet rooms in a business district (we've been there on New Year Eve - so it was really quiet ) but 10-15 walk via Rue Royale from royal palace with art museums, sablon or cathedral and rue Neuve (shopping street, City2 and especially Galeria INNO). Metro stop is also in 5 min. walk and you have 2-3 stops to grand place and a few more to a railway station. W-fi is free and working well, breakfast is good enough but nothing more. There is tea and coffee in your room. You can also jogging in the central park.

Clean, comfortable, quiet twin room Couple rooms are very small. We changed to a twin room, and although it wasn't a double bed, its space and comfort exceeded our price/quality expectations

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was good, not too far from city centre and grand place - a nice ten minute walk. This meant that it was quieter at the hotel. Although there were construction works happening outside the hotel but these were only disruptive first thing on Monday morning. The breakfast is a real pro point.
