The worst experience I ever had with a hotel ever!
The worst experience I ever had with a hotel ever! The room was horrible, the air was impossible to breathe, the windows will not open and being a smoking room my wife got nausea, almost fainted and was impossible to change room as nothing was available. After not sleeping for 48 hours as travelling by plane from Abbotsford to Toronto during the previous night, to go through this experience is crazy; the reception staff was not helpful at all and rude saying you bought the cheapest room - that is what you get; and it was $277 - so many better options were available at under $200, but I choose this because of the name and location.
I had to spend another $360 on another hotel and Uber rides to get a normal room and sleep. And in the end I was refused refund for the room although the conditions were impossible to stay and the room was not used.

The hotel was fine.
The hotel was fine. We were there for the night…we had attended a wedding reception which was about 5 minutes away. We literally checked in, got ready and left. Came back around 1am and went to sleep. The few hours we were there was fine. Staff was friendly and assisted when I needed some safety pins for my dress. There are a lot of restaurants close by if you choose to have breakfast outside as well.

Ikea was visible from the hotel.
Ikea was visible from the hotel. It was the reason for the trip. Am now a happy traveler and will come to this location again. The public transport system looks impressive... a few too many short strip malls with lots of driving in between....good parking at big box stores...lots of them...cannot comment on the big mall nor any restaurants...frequent neither...direction and street traffic good... access to major highways good... proliferation of chicken coup housing developments not so pleasant to have in constant view... WONDERLAND A NO GO!

Vaughan is conveniently located at the north end of Toronto. Easy to access combined with the subway access to Toronto it is the doorway to the city without traffic and parking chaos with bringing your own vehicle down.

Vaughan is the perfect place to stay, it’s in proximity of everything! Shopping and dining is amazing, close to wonderland for the family, and you are not far from downtown TO to take in a baseball game or any other attractions. I travel from up North so it’s the perfect staying point for us, we can travel further south for the day then stay the night in Vaughn and we are closer to travel back home the next day- I Love Vaughn!
I have been going to this hotel for several years due to its location so I can visit Kleinburg’s McMichael Collection of Canadian Art. In 2019 I discovered the TTC Vaughan subway station and loved traveling to downtown Toronto without a car. I have gotten to know a few restaurants, a Chapters store, gas stations and grocery stores in the area west of the hotel, on th either side of the 400 expressway.
The hotel is in a very good location, very clean and spacious. It provides very good breakfast, and even a supplemental dinner for 3 days in a week. The kitchen in the suite has most needed utensils. There are plenty of parking spaces and the WiFi is very stable and fast. The staff are very helpful and friendly. It is one of the best hotel I stayed in recent years.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel, especially the outstanding service provided by the House Keeping Department. Jane, in particular, who works on the 4th floor went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We got to know her special touch and were disappointed when she was off. Her dedication deserves special recognition!!
I liked the soap that the hotel uses. I was very happy that they used Dove products.
I liked the breakfast offered in the morning. They had carry bags I could take breakfast upstairs to my family.
Also, I loved the checkout time, which gave us some time to sleep in and get up to get ready.
Beds and pillows were comfy.
The property is in a nice residential area, close to the large Vaughan Mills shopping centre and also close to the entrance to Canada’s wonderland. The house was very nice inside, and the owner was responsive to any queries. There was lots of space for all 5 of us. We would definitely stay again.
The breakfast supposed to be free for any body lodging in the hotel .
Since the person has paid for the Hotel at high rate compared to other ones which are even more advanced then this Hotel is for free .
Amazing service from ALL staff!! Everyone was friendly and so willing to assist! The check-in was so easy and we felt welcomed compared to other local hotels we’ve stayed at… we will be returning!!!
We went to Canada’s Wonderland and it was close
to the park, restaurants and shopping! the hotel
was quiet, and we appreciated the hot tub after a
long day!
