Breakfasts were delicious and the staff took great care of us.

Santa Cruz is a really good base for exploring thr wine area. An interesting small town to walk around. Good restaurants and bars. There is a very good museum in town with lots of artifacts from all around Chile. Very well displayed and lots of information, we used google translate and visited twice during our stay as there was so much to see. Easy to travel to the many vineyards, we used uber to go to the restaurant at the Montes vineyard Fuegos de Alpata , the meal was fabulous. La Casita de Barrealas has an excellent menu and well worth visiting in walking distance of the town centre.

Santa Cruz and all valley is one of the best place in Chile for wine and relaxing lovers. There are amazing wine yards, pretty much close all of them , incredible wines and luxury restaurants with high quality food. What can I say?, I just came back and I am counting minutes to go back.. ahhh!! Weather in early autumn… if you like hot weather.. 32°C. Last but not least.. sea side, no more than 60 kms, another rewarding moments!! Seafoods and fish… OMG! You must to go there!!

It's a great little town a little off the beaten path, but on a big enough path to appreciate what it has to offer. The wine route that goes up the valley is fantastic, offering plenty of opportunities. The city square has good shops, a hotel, restaurants and conveniences all within easy walking distance. And the city maintains the sidewalks, street and park nicely.

Very clean, felt homey, the bedrooms were huge with comfortable duvets and TV's with Netflix and Google Chromecast. The self-service breakfast is HUGE and you can take it between 5-11am. The outside chill area is beautiful with BBQ facilities and a super friendly dog (Luna:). The staff are helpful and the kitchen was full-equipped and always clean. The property is 5 minute walk from the main square and super markets and very quiet to sleep at night. Highly recommend! Also, one of the cheapest places to stay in Santa Cruz

The hotel is a perfect way to see Santa Cruz, the museum which is fantastic and other vineyards. Nice wine-tasting room (we didn't do any) and nice gift shops. The breakfast was huge and varied, very good coffee. We enjoyed the setting but needs a few more cozy sitting areas in winter or in the pouring rain, which we experienced since it was very early spring. In the evening, we had decent pizzas by the fireplace. The heating in the rooms was very good.

The rooms at Hotel Parronales are a fantastic value. The staff was kind enough to decorate the room for my partner's birthday, which we truly appreciated. Our room included an outdoor jacuzzi tub overlooking the vines. The bathroom & sleeping area were large and comfortable, and the rate included a full breakfast. The hotel also offers hot and cold outdoor pools, which we really enjoyed.

Superb boutique hotel/mini resort. Besides the obviously unique barrel-shaped rooms (that are also extremely comfortable), they have a nice pool, a lake, a garden for meals/wine and a great restaurant with excellent choice. They’ll do a very kate check out for a reasonable fee so it’s ideal if you are catching a late flight or driving to Santiago.
