Nice little city, with spa’s. Had a terrible experience at a restaurant close to the hotel. A broaster chicken place surtidora de aves 77. Served dry overcooked chicken. And didn’t even try to make things better. Everything else around was really good.

The food in both restaurants and also breakfast buffet excelent. Staff very nice and helpful. Also nice the small private jacuzzis of thermal water, which you can use once a day for 30 minutes (more than enough and never had an issue to get a spot), We enjoyed all these parts of the hotel and beside of some things we did not really like, we would come back. It is a few minutes out of the town of Paipa but it is a reality onto its own and a wonderful get away if that's what you are wanting. The Hacienda is really near self-sufficient just like it was intended to be from it's 1716 beginnings. The lodging is lovely, bar and restaurant very good and the type of place you really should stay for at least a couple or more days.
