We had an amazing time at the hostel studio. The cozy atmosphere, with a pool, games, and vibrant lounge areas, made our stay truly memorable. The owners were exceptionally kind and welcoming, adding to the warmth of the experience. With a close walk to the beach, the cozy ambiance ensures we'll definitely stay again. Highly recommended for couples seeking a comfortable retreat! We will definitely miss this place as it was so wonderful! Thank you again !

Nice condominium. Nice pool area. Good air-conditioning
Easy walking distance to businesses and the beach.
Easy walking distance to businesses and the beach. Not really a LOT of hustlers/sheisters, etc.. We ate local, Indian, and Greek foods. We had a vehicle and traveled to other places outside of Coco.

I have been to CR twice now, both times I've stayed in Coco. The first time was a random selection based on a whim travel, but we had such an amazing time that we decided to bring more friends back 4 years later. We trained both times at Playa BJJ and did the sunset catamaran tour with Marlin del Rey both times. The second time, we rented a villa so we cooked alot of our own meals - the grocery stores, meat store, and fruit stands were amazing. The beach culture was great. A couple of us ended up using Uber and taxis - very manageable. Coconutz Brewhouse was great with their live music. El Capricho Mexican Restaurant & Bar was so much fun with a fishbowl drink and karaoke. Tortuga Bar was great. The boys hiked out to Isleta El Coco and had an amazing time. We hiked to La Leona waterfall - not super hard but requires mobility as you ramble alongside the rocky river for a few kilometers... absolutely worth it! We also went to Catarata Llanos del Cortes (another waterfall) where you can walk up to a lagoon and swim right in the waterfall. I would go back to Coco again - hands down.

The timing of our visit was great.
The timing of our visit was great. No crowds but hot, hot, hot and humid. April 27-May 3. Because so many people visit Costa Rica, the cost of food and just about everything isn't reasonable. We ate at the well known local restaurants which were expensive but good. Too much butter used with the fish, though I should have insisted on braised fish. We ate at Mar Azul. The Mexican restaurant was good. Note, for those who just jump in the car and pick a destination, beware that all the roads aren't paved. We went to Nosara and man-oh-man, though driving but ABSOLUTELY scenic. Glad we had a 4X4 and good ground clearance.

It is a family situation, very very basic.
It is a family situation, very very basic. Clean with a kitchen that had no cooking utilities other than a coffee maker & fridge that did not work.
I had a cooler, my own cooking supplies etc so it worked for me.
Radio & Tv could be a bit loud but shut down early.
I have lived in Latin America, so I understand a family situation where many may not!
I loved the hostess! I love the proximity to the beach in the downtown and if you don’t have a vehicle to get around, it’s perfect for that and super inexpensive! Bonuses for travellers who don’t want to be a hostel

Costa Rica is beautiful and the people are friendly and lovely to get to know. There are options for those who are active - think hiking through the rainforest, fishing, surfing or for relaxing - think sitting by the pool or ocean with a good book. The shopping is fun. There are animals and beautiful nature - volcanos, waterfalls, flowers to surround yourself with.

Easy drive from Liberia Airport.
Easy drive from Liberia Airport. The town is small enough to be friendly and just large enough to have what you need. The beach is nicely maintained and easy to access. The people was very friendly and although the language is Spanish, we didn't have any problems communicating.
Amazing clean and comfortable. Food was good, service and staff were all so friendly and helpful. Adonis at the bar during the shows was amazing, great attitude and service. Milton at the buffet was so friendly!
My daughter and I had an amazing time and relaxation.
We did a catamaran and a boat trip to Coco , both were fun. Drinks were good and service was always fast and friendly. Was easy to eat meals at all restaurants, sometimes with a short wait but we went for drinks while waiting.
Would go back again!
Maria does an excellent job looking after the hotel. She doesn't speak much English, but we figured things out. She was very kind and patient and always accommodated my requests. The rooms are simple but comfortable and very clean! The hotel is also very secure with keyed gates, bars on windows. As a female solo traveler, I felt completely safe.
If you like a heavy tourist area with loud music, variety of shopping and restaurants then this spot is in the heart of it all. The beach is a 5 min walk. However coco beach is ash like dark sand. So the water is muddy. But there’s live music on the beach at the restaurant. Vendors etc. room was clean. Breakfast was ok. Very basic.
Location was perfect within a block of the beach just set back enough to have a more laid back feel. Within walking distance of downtown Coco and across the street from 2 restaurants/ bar. Great swimming pool. A very nice boutique hotel. Private. Very friendly staff. Great outdoor showers after a day at the beach.
The bed was incredibly comfortable. The room also had an AC and a refrigerator. Also the pool was perfect for relaxing and the direct location in the center was great.
The staff was incredibly friendly. I got a free room upgrade and got super great tips from the staff - not just for coco but for all of Costa Rica.
Location, hotel is right in front of the beach. personnel was friendly. Prices seems fair compared to other options close by. Beach was peaceful and clean, beautiful sunsets. Bed was comfortable, AC worked great. Did not try the restaurant, but cocktails and fruit smoothies were tasty.
Chiny (host) was great! Very attentive and readily available via whatsapp. Great property/value if you decide to stay in Coco and want a townhouse/apartment experience. Chiny and husband recently purchased this property and are working hard to get it back into tip top shape.
Location was outside the main town, it was a bit of a hike at night on badly lit muddy roads. You could walk to the town along the beach if adventurous because of a small stream you have to ford. There was a nice beach bar near the hotel. The town was quaint.
Everthing , food was amazing , we have avery strict diet we always suffer when we out , here it was no issue , the view from our room was breathtaking , alot of things to do , this is the best all inclisive hotel in guanacaste with no doubt
The staff were always helpful, and the hotel manager was exceptional. Marine helped us sort out a small accident with our hire car which made our overall experience of this hotel exceptional.
The hotel is on the beach front and close to the town's restaurants. The beds are clean and comfortable. Free wifi. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good but very small portion.
Tasty breakfast with four choices for variety. Good air conditioning and space in room. Great location in Coco for walking to beach or the main street resturants.
I LOVE IT HERE!!!! i would definitely come back to cocos just to stay here again. sary really made us feel like part of the family. she is the sweetest
