Conchal Hotel, hotel in Brasilito

Offering an outdoor pool and tropical garden, Conchal Hotel is located just 820 feet from Brasilito Beach. All rooms have access to a furnished patio with views of the garden or pool.

This is probably the 3rd best hotel in Brasilito Beach, it was a great value for $135/night for the "Honeymoon Suite", but some rooms are as low as $60! The only two nicer options are the Westin and the W, but those will cost $400-800+/night! Very friendly staff, and amazing "Tipico" breakfast(included) with wonderful wildlife as dining companions. The "Honeymoon" suite isn't anything extraordinary, its one of the larger rooms with an extra small balcony. The room was clean overall and spacious for two people. Fridge and Airconditioning worked well. The onsite Papaya Restaurant is actually very good! Albeit a bit pricy.

Quinta Esencia, hotel in Brasilito

Offering outdoor pool and a restaurant, Quinta Esencia is located in Brasilito, only 984 feet from the beach. It is surrounded by lush tropical gardens and features free Wi-Fi.

Ximena is Hostess Extraordinaire. She made our every moment at the B&B superb. She is so much more than a hostess. She makes the place. We also loved being slightly removed from the exclusivity of the surrounding developing coastal communities to the north and south of Brasilito. Thank you so much Ximena!

    The location was good.

The location was good. The room was sparse, sheets did not fit and I did wonder if they were clean, they were awfully creased and looked slept in, we were given three pillows ! . There was no breakfast available. The restaurant closed at 7pm. I would advise seeking an alternative hotel.

I would definitely not recommend staying there besides, it includes breakfast, but apparently it does not even though they send you a welcome email that says it does. They do not serve coffee after 8 AM. It is extremely loud until midnight and then they wake up at six in the morning, doing a recycling in front of your door. Proximity to the beach is amazing but that’s the only thing.

A quaint hotel right on the beach. Perfect for a slice of local life. Tons of nearby restaurants with many options. The pool was small but my kids loved it. Recommend for families and those wanting to experience the local life

Brasilito is a small town full of local residents.

Brasilito is a small town full of local residents. I would not describe this as a tourist town, which I liked. Most locals speak only Spanish but are happy to try to converse with you. Good little small inexpensive restaurants featuring great seafood. Playa Conchal is a beautiful shelled lined beach just a 10 minute walk south of the town square, Well worth the walk. Several hotels within walking distance of beach, shops etc.

Brasilito is a small beach front town that is rustic.

Brasilito is a small beach front town that is rustic. My wife and I feel it gave us a true Costa Rican experience that we felt we would miss in a larger or resort centered location. The local sodas gave us a taste of traditional Costa Rican food. The access to Playa Conchal required a 15 minute walk from Brasilito but well worth the walk.

Brasilito is a pretty scruffy town.

Brasilito is a pretty scruffy town. But that means lower prices. Plenty of small bars and sodas. Given the cost of all the fancy resorts around, this is the place to stay to keep your budget down and still get to access the Conchal beach.

The unit was large and spacious. Very clean, comfortable, had laundry, a dishwasher and a large kitchen. The common spaces were well maintained and lovely. The pool is shared by only 8 units, so it was quiet. The location was great with a car, Flamingo, Brasilito, Conchal were all seemingly less than a 10 minute drive. The grocery store and food in Flamingo were great. We liked the local side of Brasilito best. We could back our car up to the edge of the beach, pitch a hammock and jump in the wild waves.

A very small hotel that is right next to a wonderful restaurant that overlooks the beach. The room was very small with two double beds but the mattresses were comfortable and the room clean. There was no real hot water to speak of but that is very common in this area. The air conditioner worked well. The pool was sparkling clean and we heard howler monkeys in the trees. For the cost I feel like this is a good value

We loved the convenient location, and everyone there could not have been nicer. Breakfast was delicious, and we so appreciate that they went out of their way to also make a breakfast for our 8 month old. The room was clean and quiet too! The hotel provided a tent and wagon for us to take what we needed down to the beach, and we had an absolute blast.

First of all, the condo itself was excellent, even better than depicted in the pictures. it was really quite lovely and comfortable. And the Reserva itself was very accommodating. Very nice facilities staffed with very friendly people. The gym, the pool, and the restaurant all were outstanding. The Reserva was immaculate and beautiful.

The staff were super helpful and really friendly. Breakfast was great, particularly the huge bowl of prepared fruit. The room was a good size. The guidebooks encourage you to go to Playa Conchal but we much preferred turning right when you get to the beach and walking along Playa Brasilito.

I’d only recommend this place for week days (the facilities like swimming pool are way too small to host more than 10 guests). Also keep in mind that there is nothing to do and poor food choices outside of the hotel. We ended up eating our own food
