We had an amazing time at the hostel studio. The cozy atmosphere, with a pool, games, and vibrant lounge areas, made our stay truly memorable. The owners were exceptionally kind and welcoming, adding to the warmth of the experience. With a close walk to the beach, the cozy ambiance ensures we'll definitely stay again. Highly recommended for couples seeking a comfortable retreat! We will definitely miss this place as it was so wonderful! Thank you again !

Location close to ocotal Beach. Relaxing pool and comfortable room.
Easy walking distance to businesses and the beach.
Easy walking distance to businesses and the beach. Not really a LOT of hustlers/sheisters, etc.. We ate local, Indian, and Greek foods. We had a vehicle and traveled to other places outside of Coco.

I have been to CR twice now, both times I've stayed in Coco. The first time was a random selection based on a whim travel, but we had such an amazing time that we decided to bring more friends back 4 years later. We trained both times at Playa BJJ and did the sunset catamaran tour with Marlin del Rey both times. The second time, we rented a villa so we cooked alot of our own meals - the grocery stores, meat store, and fruit stands were amazing. The beach culture was great. A couple of us ended up using Uber and taxis - very manageable. Coconutz Brewhouse was great with their live music. El Capricho Mexican Restaurant & Bar was so much fun with a fishbowl drink and karaoke. Tortuga Bar was great. The boys hiked out to Isleta El Coco and had an amazing time. We hiked to La Leona waterfall - not super hard but requires mobility as you ramble alongside the rocky river for a few kilometers... absolutely worth it! We also went to Catarata Llanos del Cortes (another waterfall) where you can walk up to a lagoon and swim right in the waterfall. I would go back to Coco again - hands down.

The timing of our visit was great.
The timing of our visit was great. No crowds but hot, hot, hot and humid. April 27-May 3. Because so many people visit Costa Rica, the cost of food and just about everything isn't reasonable. We ate at the well known local restaurants which were expensive but good. Too much butter used with the fish, though I should have insisted on braised fish. We ate at Mar Azul. The Mexican restaurant was good. Note, for those who just jump in the car and pick a destination, beware that all the roads aren't paved. We went to Nosara and man-oh-man, though driving but ABSOLUTELY scenic. Glad we had a 4X4 and good ground clearance.

It is a family situation, very very basic.
It is a family situation, very very basic. Clean with a kitchen that had no cooking utilities other than a coffee maker & fridge that did not work.
I had a cooler, my own cooking supplies etc so it worked for me.
Radio & Tv could be a bit loud but shut down early.
I have lived in Latin America, so I understand a family situation where many may not!
I loved the hostess! I love the proximity to the beach in the downtown and if you don’t have a vehicle to get around, it’s perfect for that and super inexpensive! Bonuses for travellers who don’t want to be a hostel

Costa Rica is beautiful and the people are friendly and lovely to get to know. There are options for those who are active - think hiking through the rainforest, fishing, surfing or for relaxing - think sitting by the pool or ocean with a good book. The shopping is fun. There are animals and beautiful nature - volcanos, waterfalls, flowers to surround yourself with.

Easy drive from Liberia Airport.
Easy drive from Liberia Airport. The town is small enough to be friendly and just large enough to have what you need. The beach is nicely maintained and easy to access. The people was very friendly and although the language is Spanish, we didn't have any problems communicating.
We stayed in the secondary hotel. The room was clean andcthexair conditioner and TV worked well. As with the main hotel, hand soap and body wash/ shampoo are provided in wall mounted recepticles in the bathroom. You were also allowed access to the grounds and pool of the main hotel. The breakfast is good and included.
We arrived a little late, due to our flight being delayed. Laura and her staff were so accommodating to make sure we got our keys and were settled. The gated hotel property felt safe and secure. The pool is beautiful and there’s a nice area to sit by the pool. The breakfast was adequate and just what we expected.
Air conditioner blows cold in every room. I loved the pool, So nice! Walking distance to the beach. The ambiance of the villa definitely gave vacation vibes. There was food and store close by. About a 12-15 minute walk to the coco beach strip with all the bars/restaurants!
Luis at the front desk was the best! He was very helpful with advice and recommendations. Great location, very close to the Coco Beach. Breakfast was very good. They have a restaurant on site for lunch and dinner, as well. high quality food. Cleaning services were great.
The hotel is located in the downtown. The room has everything you need. This is a good choice for one or two nights. The hotel looks more like a motel, even the restaurant where you can have breakfast is across the street. But overall this is a good option to overnight.
Excellent choice for a visit to Coco! Right on the beach for dive boat pick ups, sunset walks, and reading from the balcony with a view! Okay last thing the included breakfast was the greatest part. So easy, fast and good. Perfect start to every morning.
The room was clean, and it had hot water, a refrigerator and air conditioning, all good points. The hotel is a 30-minute drive from the airport. There is regular bus service to the airport turnoff and also to the city of Liberia.
Very nice place, close to Ocotal and Coco beach. Nice to stay if you have a car or motorcycle however, even if you need to move by walking it's close enough to coco and ocotal beach, bars, restaurants and groceries store
Pool, Trivia Night, grocery on site. The owner was very nice and helpful. The hotel is located less than 100 meters from the beach area, which was nice. Also 150 meters from the main street for shopping.
Mr. Benny Santos hotel manager was the best hotel manager I have ever encountered and he made sure my daughters 15th birthday celebration was perfect.
Mr. Santos should be commend and promoted.
Clean, comfortable, quiet. Good budget price for playa del coco. Excellent option for those with a car. Kitchen to do your own cooking. Solid wifi. Maria was friendly and helpful.
Variety of restaurants, staff was superb and extremely helpful, hotel was very clean. Someone is literally always cleaning the floors and eating areas. It was a really nice hotel.
Far from the busy part of Coco. Quiet pool, nice travellers, some longer term
Stays. Room was decent but our balcony didn’t fit people to sit. It was useful for drying clothes.
It is located right on the beach and it is a cute hotel to stay at. The room is clean and has fans to help keep the room cool. The breakfast is filling with good coffee.
