Kinkara is an experiential luxury mountain retreat located in the foothills of Mt. Chirripó, Costa Rica’s tallest peak. It’s perfect for one-of-a-kind activities, personal relaxation, and collective group experiences. Kinkara features 31 luxury Lotus Belle tents offering guests the opportunity to sleep closer to nature than in a traditional hotel. Unique property amenities include a waterfall and numerous natural swimming holes for complimentary use; a fire pit; an open-air movement pavilion suitable for yoga; hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking trails; a temazcal-inspired sweat lodge and a food forest. During their stays, guests may revel in any number of on-site immersive activities or off-site nature adventures, ranging from spa treatments and permaculture tours to beach day trips and waterfall visits. When it comes to refueling, meals at Kinkara center on ingredients sourced predominantly from the retreat’s Mandala Garden and from local farmers, combined to create a truly epicurean and nourishing earth-to-plate cuisine.
