Hotels near Irazú Volcano, Cartago

This place is amazing!! The staff is very kind and professional. The mattress was so comfortable and the hotel looks lovely. I definitely recommend this place!

The facilities were nice and had a great view of the mountains

Charming location, highly recommended

The Location is great. Nice and big rooms. Very clean. Coffee machine and fridge.

For the price, this is a charming old fashioned stay, staffed by extraordinarily friendly staff willing to go out of their way to help you with most anything to make your vacation, not just your stay there, better. Everything was clean and comfortable, but it is older. Again, best stay in this price range I've had in Costa Rica, but if you are averse to older rooms and bedding, do yourself a favor, dig down in your wallet, and spend double on the appropriate place.

All the infrastructure was good and excellent service

Modern and very comfortable cabins 25m drive from Irazu

Beautiful property, delicious breakfast

We did an overnight stay in Cartago. We had a room with access to the garden area and parts of the host’s home. It was really all we needed. The home was beautiful and comfortable. The host was very warm and welcoming. She was able to arrange secured parking next door. A delicious breakfast to start the day with enjoyable conversation with her and her son. Learnt lots about Cartago and them. We were close enough to walk several blocks to the central area to eat and get a feel for the city. Although, it’s not a tourist town, it was interesting to see. The neighbourhood roads are narrow and tricky to drive through. Interesting! We kept the car parked until we were leaving. But, this is what Cartago is.

Beautiful views, lovely property, friendly proprietors.
