The apartment was very close to the beach, close to restaurants, good wifi, comfortable bed, spacious rooms. The host smoothly organised a transfer from airport and handed over the keys. Morever, amazing staff member Jose organised for us day trip and provided any support needed. A very big thanks to him and other staff of Katlantik! Made our holidays great!

A lovely little town of exceptionally friendly folk.
A lovely little town of exceptionally friendly folk. The vibe was relaxed, we all felt safe, even travelling with young kids, and it was nice to get away from our city life. People really welcomed us and we could see that it was a genuine interest towards us which made all the difference. The beach is outstanding, very clean, unspoiled and peaceful and goes on for miles. The food was beautifully seasoned everywhere we went and everyone gave us a smile. Beautiful place.

Sal Rei, although the capital of Boa Vista is small and the people are friendly. It is easily posible to walk around Sal Rei in an hour. Several beach bars in the area where you can just chill. Everything is very relaxed.

Perfect place to relax if you like a beach destination.
Perfect place to relax if you like a beach destination. In the island there are plenty of really nice white sand beaches completely empty. Very calm place. I would not recommend it though if you are looking for a party place, they have a few bars but not many people around. Locals are lovely and food is great. Good for a relaxing holidays but I would not stay more than a week as there is not much to do around.

Sal Rei is small and the locals are very nice and sympathetic. The local language is Portuguese but you always gonna found someone that speaks English. In the center you can found cellphone chip, gas station, supermarket, bakery, simple but good!
For those who wants to Kitesurf, Morabeza beach is the point, the wind is offshore and gusty, but most of the kite schools they have a little boat that can help you to come back to the beach, rescue your board, etc.

Sal Rei is a small, developing town that is really hoping to expand and attract more visitors. The locals were friendly and we felt safe walking everywhere, even at night. There is construction going on everywhere from the town square to housing on the outskirts. It was about a 30 minute walk from one side of town to the other, and taxis were readily available. Roads are cobblestone and/or dirt, so sturdy shoes are a good idea. Cash is recommended, as there are still many restaurants and shops that do no accept cards. It's a good idea to bring Euros with you, as the ATMs do not always have money (Escudos) available. The beaches are beautiful and not crowded, but can be quite windy. The serra at Té Manché was excellent, as was the pizza at Ristorante Pizzeria O Gato & A Raposa.
The best thing about staying here was the amazing beach and view ⛱️ right in front of the restaurant because the apartments are on top of the restaurant
The staff are lovely and the restaurant makes the best food we have tasted 😋 while being in cape verde on our self catering holiday 😀 the shops are only 10 minutes walk from the apartments
They could do with opening fort earlier though 9.00- 17.00 instead of 12.00- 17.00
We would have loved to have had their breakfast 😍
Sereia Azul Boa Vista is simply beautiful! Beautiful gardens, beautiful rooms and beautiful rooftop terrace. It was the perfect spot to end our island hoping holiday. We loved watching the sun set on the ocean from the rooftop terrace and the very short walk to the beach and beach bars. Laura couldn’t have been more a more helpful host providing lots of recommendations of places to go. The breakfast was also fantastic. We’ll definitely be back again.
Excellent value for money. Marta and Fabien were brilliant hosts from start to finish, always there to answer any questions we had and helped us out when we had a flat tyre. Only 50 metres from the beach and a 5 minute walk to the restaurants. Exactly what was advertised on the website, would recommend to anyone considering booking. Anyone considering Cape Verde, just go, it's awesome!

The most responsive hosts ever, and an awesome, lovable crew! We had some issues with the facilities that were immediately taken care of.
Away from the city and the noise, but still perfectly walkable to almost everywhere. Small shop and a couple of nice bars near by. The beach is just across the street.
You can hear the ocean from your apartment! 🤯
A perfect area in Boa Vista to get acustomed to capverdian life. The apartment is cheerfully decorated. It has wonderful seaviews and is smack in the middle of things. And WLAN is fast. Michela was the perfect host, always available and very helpful. She gave us many ideas for things to do and good advice. We would definitly come back!
The building was clean, quiet, and convenient to the beach, town, restaurants and surf shops. The apartment was spacious and clean. The balcony was a great place to sit when we were ready for a break from the beach. The kitchen was equipped for cooking and was even stocked with some basics when we arrived!
The price was unbeatable, for the size of the room/location/cleanliness. The owners speak French, likely Creole and Portuguese. If you speak German it‘s s bit of a language barrier! But very, very nice couple. Sal Rei is very small, and everything is very accessible
The staff were really professional and helpful to attend to every request I had, including even connecting me to a last minute day tour on my last day. Also the breakfast and dinner buffet were good. Rooms are cleaned also everyday and overall hotel is in order.
We had a great time at the bnb, Sonia was a great and very helpfull host. We liked the location an breakfast a lot.
Sonia helped us with our way true Boa Vista. It was very nice meeting her! Would recommend Mi Ma Bo to everyone visiting Boa Vista and Sal Rei!

the staff were very friendly and very helpful, the accommodation was lovely, spacious and very clean!
I definitely recommend!
Quiet and calm place near the long and wide sandy beach. Good hospitality. The only thing to consider is transportation - nearest shops and cafes are not really reachable without a car or taxi. Sal Rei is 10 minutes by the car. Airport -5 minutes.
Proximity to beach and beach cafés. Also to town facilities and shops. We took a quad bike experience which was really unusual over several different terrains. And of course the self catering accommodation
The staff was great - they did all possible to make the stay comfortable. The hotel itself is pretty old and requires renovation. Wifi in the rooms is not available - very disappointing.
Excellent well located hotel. Brand new and a small roof top pool, more for relaxing then swimming. Rooms were great size, as was the bathroom. Big TV and Netflix was a nice bonus.
