Royal mindelo best known for cafe royal A historic colonial house with Antique and modern features, like remodeled bathrooms with hot water…Air conditioning works great super cold to relax after a hot day in Sao Vicente, I was provided with a big screen tv with all channels from all over the world. The owners where very accommodating and friendly they provided guidance..The staff was excellent and trustworthy., especially the ladies that clean my room and change my sheets daily. The hotel have a safe which I didn’t have to use because I felt comfortable with the staff.
My my main concern when I booked was my safety being a solo traveler and 20 years since the last time that I visited the islands.The owners made sure that while I was a guest at Royal mindelo I was protected and safe.The cleanliness in this place is superb.
I had breakfast every morning it was excellent and delicious the coffee was really good.

Location, amenities, room and staff were all perfect. Right across from a grocery store and near the market. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Mindelo is a nice walkable little town.

The staff was very welcoming, did most everything to make us feel @ home. Very good recommendations on where to eat and tips for our onward trip to Santo Antao. Room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was served early (from 7.00 onwards) in buffet style and packed everything you needed. Overall very much enjoyed our stay.
