Perfect location with a beautiful view. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Upon arrival, the hotel presented us with a surprise upgrade and we were extremely grateful for this. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I would definitely request the same room in the future. Thank you Domizil Tübingen!

Tübingen is a historical university town near the edge of the Schwäbische Alb (a low range of forested hills). The old town is delightful, with numerous pubs, restaurants, and individual shops and boutiques (very few chains). Be sure to take a guided boat trip on the Neckar river!

Tübingen is one of my favorite cities.
Tübingen is one of my favorite cities. It's walkable, has lots of good restaurants, and lots of character. Eating out can be pricey, but there are lots of places to get groceries, or fruit and sandwiches during the day, and places in town and along the river to picnic. Best things to do include enjoying a favorite beverage in the square in front of the Rathaus, walking in the Schönbuch Nature Reserve, or a side trip/hike to the village of Bebenhausen and its medieval monastery-turned-royal hunting lodge. If you like boats, you can also rent a variety of them to explore the Neckar river, which runs through the town.

Tübingen is a beautiful little town about an hour south of Stuttgart. It has one of the most extensive and beautiful Old Towns in the area. There is a large variety of shops and eateries, including a good selection for vegan and vegetarian individuals. There are natural and historical sights to see in the area. For example, there are paddle boats, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards for rent as well as hiking trails in the area. You might also enjoy some of the castle and museum amenties offered by the university. I would spend at least two days in the area.

We chose Ibis Styles because of its proximity to our son's residence and also to the city center and major locales which are all within walking distance of the property. The construction work going on in front of the hotel was a spoil-sport but the hotel ensured there was no noise in the rooms. The wi-fi and other basic amenities were available and the staff were extremely cordial, however we found that the room lacks a wardrobe and since we stayed for 11 days, it was difficult to manage out of a couple of suitcases in a small room. The food that we ate was excellent (vegan, vegetarian) although there are options to suit every palate.

The town was lovely.
The town was lovely. What was unexpected was that pretty much everything was closed Christmas Eve day and the day after Christmas (12/26). We were unaware of this tradition and may have planned a bit differently.
Good location close to the old town one the banks of the river. Very pretty town. Room was reasonably large. Storage was in an open format e.g. no wardrobes with doors. Breakfast was excellent with ready made eggs to order, bakery selection, and spreads. Our room was facing the river but in a building located adjacent to the hotel lobby. That building also had businesses on other floors so the lift was shared. Staff were friendly.
Friendly staff, had no issue amending our stay when we had to cut it short due to personal reasons. They also helped us recover a lost item we left behind. The room was clean and there was plenty of off-street parking. The continental breakfast was nice. There is a very nice pizzeria not far from the hotel, as well as a bakery on the same street. We will consider staying in this hotel if we are in Tubingen again.
Electronic icheck-in didnt work due to poor connection, i had to wait more than 1 hour to get access to my room, the key-card machine did not work. I was on the ohone with staff, but it took way too long for them to fix it. I got no compensation. I was offered a drink ftom the fridge in the lobby, but there was no fridge in the lobby. I will not recommend this hotel to anybody.
Perfectly organized modern hotel with friendly helpful staff. The room was lovely and very comfy. Breakfast was great with good choices. Location is easy, if you arrive by train, as you can just leave the train station on the back end and walk to the hotel in less than 10 minutes. The hotel is also in easy walking distance to the river and old town.
It is a good hotel for the price you pay. Rooms are silent, and beds are comfortable. Furthermore, everything was clean. There is only an issue with the Wi-Fi, which does not work correctly in my room when I have to make a video call. Even asking for the staff to reset the internet device did not work. The breakfast is simple, but it is good.
We used this as a base to hike through Schonbuch national park. It's right on the southern edge of the forest, just 5 mins to get into nature. The town of Tubingen and the train station is a bus ride away. Supermarkets 10 min walk.
Self-service laundry in the basement (via another app) and amenities for self-catering.
What an incredible place! Absolutely gorgeous dècor in the main hotel and rooms. The rooms were fabulous, quirky calm quiet and comfortable. Lovely cascade shower. Secure underground parking.
Wonderful breakfast.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Short taxi/bus ride into the old town.
Will definitely stay again.
The location is good. It takes just 1 bus stop to come from the main railway station to the Hotel area. There was perfect cleanliness in the room. The room was cleaned each day and towels were always fresh. Classic german-like bread breakfast. Cheaper than most of the Tubingen hotels.
Well equipped, very cosy and comfortable.
There were some staple items like tea bags and coffee, spices, and oil in the kitchen.
It’s like home from home and I would definitely recommend anyone stays here and would love to return when I visit Tübingen again.
The hotel was at a walking distance to the old town/center, the room was clean and had enough space. Also, having an hotel with parking close to the center was very convenient for us traveling by car with 2 small kids.
The breakfast was good for the price.
The location is great - is near the University, in the middle of city center. At the end of the street you can have a 180 degrees view of Tubingen. The most common image of Tubingen - Neckar and his colorful buildings - it is very close.
Staff were very helpful and we were allowed to leave our car opposite the hotel. Had a very nice dinner in the hotel's restaurant. Fantastic location near the castle and the heart of the old town.
The location of the hotel is quite convenient, offering easy access to public transportation. Additionally, the hotel provides a serene and quiet environment for a restful stay.
I loved the view. The staff was wonderful. The only complaint is that there were no washcloths in the bathroom. Otherwise I loved everything about this hotel and the staff.
The hotel is perfectly situated just before the castle. The restaurant in the backyard is great. My room was in another building several steps away and it was very good.
Very nice, cozy and comfortable place, friendly. A short distance from Tübingen, easy parking. Very thoughtfully appointed with anything one might possibly need.
