The Seehotel & Appartements "Zur Hopfenkoenigin" - hotel garni - is furnished in an upscale country house style. A tasteful and cozy interior makes for a real feel-good atmosphere. The owner-run hotel convinces with its very personal atmosphere and is ideal for holiday and fair guests, individuals and families alike. You will find our house in a beautiful south-facing slope with panoramic views over the Great Brombachsee. Boats and colorful sails characterize the marvelous picture, as well as the "Erlebnisschiffahrt" with Europe's largest passenger trimaran. Our 4-Crown Hotel is often referred to as the "All-Suites Hotel". Our rooms are significantly larger than the 4-star standard (from 38 to 70 square meters), with separate living and bedroom, all with terrace or balcony. We offer free Wi-Fi, in the entire indoor and outdoor area, as well as digital TV and radio, with sky HD, Bundesliga and Champions League. With us park you free of charge in front of the house or in the underground car park (against fee). Take advantage of the sauna / steam room, recreation room with billiards, table football, pinball machine and outdoor table tennis. Enjoy our rich breakfast buffet!
Your hosts Helmut and Elisabeth Gruber both come from the holiday region "Franconian Lake District". Helmut Gruber is hotel manager and certified tour guide (DGVB approved). For over 25 years he is involved in the local tourism association. On request, he offers lakeside tours and hop hikes for groups and interested individual guests. Elisabeth Gruber is a trained housekeeper. Having grown up as a child on the parental hop farm, she represented as "Spalter hops queen" from 1996 to 1998 and from 1998 to 2001, the splitter Hopfenland with its cultural diversity. Since 1985, both are active in the tourist area. From June 1999 they run the Seehotel & Appartementanlage "Zur Hopfenkoenigin".

A variety of excursion destinations and recreational opportunities awaits you in the immediate vicinity. For swimming and building castles we recommend the seaside resort at nearby Igelsbachsee. Take advantage of the wonderful cycling and hiking trails around the Franconian lakes. In the immediate vicinity you will find the splitter Barfuß-Wonnen-Weg and the adventure forest with fly-line and zip-line over the Igelsbachsee. Nearby destinations include, for example, the hop city of Spalt, the Roman town of Weissenburg with the Roman fort, the Baroque town Ellingen with the Teutonic Order castle and the district town of Roth. For day trips we recommend the cities on the Romantic Road, such as. B. Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Dinkelsbühl or the Franconian metropolis Nuremberg with the Kaiserburg and the Nuremberg Christkindlesmarkt.
