Located in the heart of the historic town of Gräfrath, this unique building offers industrial design interiors and free Wi-Fi. Das Trafohaus provides views of the Gräfrather Heide park. A historic transformer building used in the 1920s to supply energy to Solingen, Das Trafohaus has been converted to a one-room hotel. It offers a fully equipped kitchen as well as a living room with open fireplace and flat-screen satellite TV. Guests are welcome to relax in the Arabian-style bathroom or on the peaceful garden terrace. The hotel is 328 feet from the German Blade Museum and 1.9 mi from the center of Solingen. Das Trafohaus offers free parking and is next to the A46 motorway. It is a 25-minute drive from central Düsseldorf and 35 minutes from central Cologne.
