The location is quite handy for visiting Wernigerode. The young lady who received us was very pleasant and appeared from next door when we arrived to check us in. The apartment itself is spacious and generally well-equipped (although it could use a modern can-opener!), with a nice view of the church from the kitchen and bathroom. Parking is on site too.

The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful with all my questions and requests. I was even provided with additional towers in order to dry off my bike when it rained. Very grateful about it!

We traveled by car as a group of five adults, and one very large dog. Our main goal was to go hiking and enjoy the evenings with good food and drinks. The hotel exceeded our expectations. We are a loud group. The hotel staff not only made us feel welcome, but it was very obvious that they cared about how comfortable we were. Our rooms were clean and tidy, the pup was provided with an occasional treat and we were thrilled with delicious meals and hospitable atmosphere. Hot coffee waited on the breakfast table for us each morning. Tip toll!
