Great place to stay and use as a base if you have a car Alicante is only an hour away and a nice drive along the coast road
Promenade is very clean with plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from and about 2 miles long from end to end rugged coast line with three sandy bays and a couple of man made safe pools as well
Will definitely be going back

There is a lot of concrete in and around Torrevieja and a lot of continuing development. The beach front areas were usually very busy. There are more attractive and quieter beach resorts along the coast - for example Los Alcázares to the south or Santa Pola to the north - for those who want a quieter time.

The town itself is ugly and busy. The beaches are nice. However, the surrounding countryside is very good for cycling and/or walking. There are dedicated cycle paths along the main roads to other towns nearby and also lots of quiet country lanes with not much traffic.

Torrevieja is not for everyone as it’s a typical working Spanish town albeit with a lovely promenade and beach. However there are lots of shops, bars and restaurants. I especially recommend the ‘chino’ shops where you can buy everything you didn’t know you needed!

Hotel was in a perfect location couldn't be better. Property on the whole is in need of tlc
But our room was very clean. Reception very good and the local supermarket very equipt.
Soap very limited to 2 little sachets. Take your own. Kitchen clean loved making a cuppa in the morning and sitting on the balcony overlooking the marina. . All in all a perfect stay in a clean appartment. If they renovated the area it would be perfect 🥰 we had some lovely beach walks and amazing meals along the way.

First time here and thoroughly enjoyed the area and the holiday. Nice choice of beaches, shopping and restaurants/cafes.
Unless close to a bus route, you would need a car to visit all the spots as it is quite spread out.
If in the marina area I can recommend an excellent gluten free bakery and café - Coffee and Toffee in Calle Joaquín Chapaprieta. Delicious pastries in a lovely relaxing environment.
If on Playa de los Locos, have a meal at El Tiburón, excellent food at reasonable prices.
If you do have a car then Murcia is well worth a visit, plenty to see and do
The host is very friendly and flexible with our check-in and check-out times. Also, the house is sparkling clean such as at a 5 star hotel. The host is very thoughtful - the house really have all the extra stuffs such as diapers for babies, hair masks etc. The house itself was nice with a beautiful backyard. Very calm and safe. A big supermarket is about 400-500 m away from the house. The pool is nice as well. There are plenty of parking places around the house. Highly recommend the place, would come back anytime 😊
Beautiful, clean and spacious apartment. There is everything you need for your stay. No oven, but it did not bother us as hob and microwave were more than sufficient. Perfect location, quiet area, but right in the centre, very close to both beaches, restaurants, shops with supermarket Masymas next door. WI-FI with strong signal. I found beds comfortable. The hosts are very nice people, welcoming and helpful, very fast to respond to any queries. I would definitely stay in this apartment again.
Great pool area, location excellent, management company really helpful and friendly. Really liked the top floor bedrooms with great en-suites. Fantastic value for money in our opinion. Noticed comment in previous review about cockroaches - no problem at all if you spray around the bottom of the back door and put a towel in same place to stop them coming in. Our family had a great time 😀
The apartment was nice and cozy, decently equipped and exactly as described, within 10 min to the beach, in a quiet area, wiith convinient parking on the premises. Check-in and checkout process were easy and smooth with clear details from the host who was friendly and helpful during communication. Great value for money and recommended for a stay in Torrevieja.
This hotel is nice, very central close to all the bars and restaurants and beach.
Lots off shops and huts
The main bus station is a 8 min walk where you can get the bus for Alicante airport
And two shopping centres
The hotel has a pool and outside bar area from 11am/8pm
Staff seem nice and polite and our room was cleaned everyday
I loved everything about this little gem of hotel. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, staff very friendly and helpful, location right in the centre. I’ve stayed in torrevieja many times and this was my first time at this hotel, I will definitely be staying there again. Thank you Hotel Cano for a memorable stay.
Hotel was ideal for our purpose ie golfing in the area. Rooms were large with a good balcony but could be freshened up a bit. Staff were friendly and happy to help. Lovely pool area and close to the sea. Not much (that we found) in the area - just a couple of bars - mainly townhouses.
the location is fantastic near to the beaches and supermarket also is two steps from the bus stops that takes you to torrevieja. the views are fantastic from both sides for me is one of the best places i’ve been in spain.
very high speed wifi, good lifts. for me that was great.
Very nice upgrade to big double external room with balcony and sea view between first line buildings large walk in shower ,huge TV if that's your thing ,not in the centre of torrevieja but a nice playa and cafes opposite hotel very comfortable room
The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was convenient that breakfast and dinner were included and there were many child friendly options. The rooms were spacious and clean. Our children loved it. The pool area was very nice.
The person who tidied my room, made the bed and folded my nightwear did a fabulous job! The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. The hotel was well situated for walking around town. My room was really clean and light and airy.
very close to the Marina and walking distance to the centre of town. Apartment was clean and comfortable and very good value for money. staff were very helpful and the shop on site had a good variety of food and drinks.
